Just been wondering, I notice in some of the profiles that a pic with your eyes open is required..so I've got some questions... do many post pictures of themselves with their eyes closed??? And then the next one, why is it so important to you to receive a pic where the person has their eyes open??? [:)][:)]

I haven't seen a lot of pics with eyes closed, but I have seen quite a few with head bowed. I prefer a picture with their eyes showing because I think a lot is revealed through the eyes. I don't usually respond to profiles with no pic at all. (For numerous reasons.)

k thank you[:D] I myself prefer to be a mysterious one but if I do give out a picture..it's usually just a normal one shrugs

What I really hate is that so many guys seem to take their pics with sunglasses on... I think they think it makes them look all cool or something, but I want to see what they LOOK like!

I agree Lady Morgynn about the sunglasses..but I would also like to add that it would sometimes also be nice to see a smile from a Dominant,most I find are not smiling and I often wonder if this is because they feel they would not be taken seriously?...Tempting

at one time I had my picture posted....simple..standing...looking straight at the camera... I left the site for awhile..and upon coming back...did not repost my pic... I must admit...not knowing if it's been a good thing or not...but the number of mail inquries have dropped.....then again..it just could be...now that I'm back...my intent for being here isn't what it was the first time...

I personally love eyes. I also beleive eyes are a window to a person's soul. You can read alot about a person by their eyes. If a person is walking down the street looking down at the side walk what does that tell you about them? If your speaking to someone and they look left or right instead of at you what does that tell you? If someone is constantly hiding behind sunglasses even side what does that tell you about them? Granted I would rather be sent a picture of a man in sunglasses than a man who is showing his goods or lack there of. Nika{Phoenix}

I do prefer photos, being hypocritical as I have taken mine down due to people not reading my profile... I do like eyes though

Photos are nice, as long as they are recent. Have met a few people with pics posted............what a difference 5 years will do.......

I agree that eyes are the window to the soul, that and it's amazing how hard it can be to picture what someone looks like when you have no idea what their eyes look like. I also agree with others on here, sunglasses are horrible, they just seem like the person is trying to hide something

sometimes you want to talk to someone before letting them see you, though... they can always ask.

I post a photo of myself in order to give anyone reading my profile an insight into my character & persona. As I read eyes, facial expressions, body language etc.. Seeing a person's eyes, even in a photograph, will give me an insight as to the depth of the person and levels of honesty I can expect from them. All too often, I have found from experience, that if a person will not share at least a facial photo then they are hiding something and they are not someone I would choose to associate with, let alone persue any type of trust relationship be it friend or otherwise. I totally understand, and agree, that it may not be the safest thing for a woman to post her image in her profile, however if she's conversing with another person privately and this person has been open in providing a photo of themselves to her, then by all means there should be no reason for her not to respond in kind.

I deliberately do not post a picture because I want to find someone who doesn't judge by looks alone. Just because I don't want to share my picture with you on my profile or within the first few emails, doesn't mean there is something to hide.

i do photos with my eyes visabel simpl;y cause Mistress likes seeing them ive had some profile pics in the past with my head down ect.. there not among my favorits and dont use for profile pictures,, i only bow for certian ones, so why do it in photo to all. the one i use here isnt among my favs but the only one i could find at the moment whne i set things up.
