Good to see Canadians doing their fair share of having fun and to make life interesting. He looks like Alvin Green.

Nude photos raise questions about private lives of judges

Allegations that nude photographs of a senior Manitoba judge in bondage, chains and performing oral sex were posted on an Internet porn site have kindled debate about how much of a judge’s private life is private.

The Canadian Judicial Council’s Ethical Principles for Judges — which judges are encouraged but not required to follow — say they should strive to conduct themselves with integrity and avoid conduct that would diminish public respect for the judiciary.

Can someone who poses naked with a whip be considered a person of integrity, or does the question open the door to inappropriate moral judgments about an individual’s personal life?

Judge in sex scandal faces $67M lawsuit

WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg man who claims his former lawyer repeatedly harassed him to have sex with his wife, now a prominent Queen's Bench justice, filed a $67-million lawsuit against the couple and their former law firm Wednesday.

The suit was filed just hours before Justice Lori Douglas, the woman at the centre of this lurid scandal, provisionally relinquished her duties on the bench.

Chapman claims he was going through a messy divorce in April 2003 when King, his lawyer at the time, started pressuring him to have sex with his wife, Douglas.

The Star article gives more info than the Sun.

Chapman is an idiot and has no clue what he is doing, and Douglas' husband isn't much smarter.

1. In 2003, Chapman was asked to join a three way with Douglas and King.  Inappropriate, to say the least, and dumb.  King sent Chapman nude pics of Douglas in bondage and sucking cock.  A monumentally stupid idea.
2. In 2003, Chapman accepted $5K to destroy the nude pics that King had sent.  This smells like extortion to me.
3. Nothing happened till a month ago, when Chapman decided to file suit and ask for $67 mil.  I suspect he wanted more money and figured that the couple would settle out of court rather than go through what they're going through now.

I feel sorry for Douglas.  Her husband took pics of her and then posted them on the net, allegedly without her knowledge or consent.  Then the doofus sent them to Chapman and didn't have the sense to take her face off the pics.

The lawsuit itself is ridiculous.  Chapman cannot show any damages whatsoever, let alone $67 mil.  I hope he gets nailed .  As well as King.

I'm astounded, why do people, such prominant people, get themselves into these career destroying situations?
