Interesting that what is important to the author is Beck's non acceptance of trinitarian notions, not the fact that he is a bellicose, hate-belching prick.

Apparently, being a bellicose, hate-belching prick is NOT contrary to Christianity.

Is Glenn Beck A Christian?

Is Glenn Beck a Christian? No. Glenn Beck is a Mormon. Mormons do not believe in the Trinity. Mormons do not believe that Jesus is God. Mormons believe that Jesus was "created" by an act of physical sex between God the Father and Mary. Mormons believe that they will be "gods" someday. Mormons have more faith in the Book of Mormon than they do in the Bible. Mormons reject the gospel of Jesus Christ - instead they believe that salvation is attained by a combination of faith and doing the good works that the Mormon "church" requires.

Depends on how one defines Christian I suppose.  I would say that Mormons are no more Christian than Christians are Jews.  Every time you tack on a new book you are starting a new offshoot.

Mormons believe in Jesus. They believe that Jesus was the son of God, they believe he died and was resurrected. They believe that if you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior that you will be redeemed.. but Mormons have a higher price at the recycling center than other Christians when Jesus comes again. They also get a higher place in Heaven if they die before he comes again...


Believing in the trinity is not a foundational belief in Christianity, but believing in Jesus as the divine, resurrected savior is.

Edited to add, I have studied Mormonism, studied with the Jehovah Witnesses, Gnosticism, evangelical fundamentalism.... garden variety protestantism. etc etc etc....

I find the debate of whom is more "christian" than who else, very fucking funny. Seriously, there are some Christians I know that think Catholics aren't "real Christians", even though they WERE the Christian Church for over a 1000 years or more.

Ummm, you don't think his viewers and Fox Network has anything to do with it?  He sells fear and paranoia (to great financial success) very very well to a scared audience.  Are they all liberals?

Greek Orthodox is the first and real original Christians but everyone forgets about them. Ask Archbishop Bartholomew who is in Turkey and was born in Muslim Turkey and will not leave his Christian base. He was on 60 minutes recently. Greek Orthodox will tell you Catholics are not real Christians because they left the Greek Orthodox church area.

Well, should he be debated/debunked, or should he just go freewheeling along?  That "ignore him and he'll go away" doesn't work in real life (at least not in the workplace, as I know to my sorrow! [:D])
