LOL, another clever comment from DYB. Actually we have plenty of Christians up here who are Eagles fans.

For what it's worth, Mormons consider themselves Christians, and that's enough for me. If we're going to have to start determining who's a "true" Christian, we'll need to bring back the Inquisition.

And...who the hell cares whether Glenn Beck is a Christian? He's an ASSHOLE.

I have had to explain that 1,000+ years of history to numerous people who showed up at my front door to preach their version of various Prostestant churches. And almost none of them had ever heard of Greek Orthodox.

To be fair, rulemylife, he never mentioned Glenn Beck himself, nor did he mention him in the context of his replies. He just ranted on about something unrelated, a point he wanted to make out of his own noggin. He does this a lot, responds to people without reading the thread

Well, I have had to explain that not all Christians believe Jesus is divine to many people, also....

But even under what most of us would think of as "Christian" in the USA, Mormons qualify

Yes
   BUT
        Much of the Christian Right especially the fundies and the evangelicals consider the Mormon religion a cult. The Southern Baptist have some pretty snazzy publications and workshops on how to convert Mormons. That was one of the things the hurt Romney in the Republican primary.

    many of those same people consider the Catholic Church a cult as well.
