His mostest favoritest thing to do when I'm sitting on the throne unable to move, is to get into my jeans as they sit around my ankles (I go commando, so no undies in the way) and (try to) go to sleep! Fifteen pounds of large black furry cat is a bit much!

Your cat wants to get in your pants?

Yep, not only that, but Stinky sits at the end of the bed and just WATCHES me. He follows me with his eyes, as if to say, "It's enough to just be near you mamma".

Here's Stinky (He's the black one and Hobbes is the orange one. Spud is the curled up one) Can you see how those eyes can be a bit disconcerting?

Oh, and they were doing a Pirate Kitteh photo shoot that day. Don't ask.

Sorceress, I'm glad I'm not the only one with strange pervy kitties!

Awww hell, help someone? I can't remember how to do this!

SweetPoosy -> RE: Odd ball cat (9/4/2010 11:33:50 PM)

I HATE it when that happens!

Gonna go back and try again!

I have a cat who is in touch with her inner tiger. Just the other day she tried to attack a deer when it came into the yard to eat up my remaining veggies.

SweetPoosy -> RE: Odd ball cat (9/4/2010 11:42:53 PM)

Will you loan her to me when my daughter's dogs leave? I've got a herd of about 8 deer that want to jump my fence and eat my roses, and my cats are effing useless! I'd show you a picture, but obviously, I'm completely clueless as to how to post it correctly!

Amos will sometimes join me in the bathroom, but only for her style of loving (face rubs/ear scritches/back scratching.. at HER control).  Cashew demands it.  But it's not to keep me company.. it's because the tub faucet drips and he is ABSOLUTELY fascinated by that dripping water.

Gracious used to join me for ear scritches.

I miss her.

Should I suggest a laughing skull? Thats motion sensitive. I've tried it and works wonders for the front yard. I think the apples may make it this year.

Careful about that chemical cabinet.  My cat will also chew the lids on bottles and things - you don't want your little guy getting poisoned.

In my last home, I had to put child locks on my cupboards.  In my new home, all chemicals are in a different place that he can't get to.

Just yesterday he was under the kitchen sink.  I didn't know this.  I was doing the dishes and ran the disposal.  He freaked out under there!  My legs were blocking the cupboard doors and all of a sudden I felt some serious pounding against them as he tried to get out and couldn't.  Poor thing.

He also has to be in the bathroom when I go.  At my last place, the litter box was in the bathroom, so he used "my time" to go to the bathroom as his time, too.  It was our bonding time. LOL

Aneirin -> RE: Odd ball cat (9/5/2010 5:24:38 PM)

Hahaha, bonding time in the loo, I also have the litter tray in the loo too, often when I am in there, the cat uses that as a cue to also be in there. Mine also uses the shower for drinking water, I know cats prefer running water to drink, so the shower I am fine with. At the moment the little scrote is again in with the chemicals under the sink, but also under there is spiders and other wildlife, so perhaps she feels more comfortable.

I have discovered this though, my cat has a thing for new places to inhabit, for about two weeks it was next to my computer, now it is under the sink, given the various places she has used since the time she has been with me, I know she will move out from under the sink in a few days time, never to go back there again.

Great idea for the laughing skull! I'll get a few this year after Halloween. Maybe it will even keep away the tweakers too! I'll just put a "Trespassers will be violated" sign under it!

Now how do I keep the javelina out of my yard?

She's not in the "Family Way" is she, Aneirin?
It sounds to me like she is looking for a place to nest.

Aneirin -> RE: Odd ball cat (9/5/2010 5:44:44 PM)

Chance would be a fine thing, she hates all the cats around here, she will not go out if any of the other cats are in the vicinity, and if she is forced to go near other cats, be they male or female, it is loads of growling, spitting and hair standing on end with ears folded back. Most of the time she stays in, pretty much a hose cat, although she will go out when I go out, down the shed, she is there on top of the shed. She follows me around a lot.

Chrisincuffs -> RE: Odd ball cat (9/5/2010 5:56:18 PM)

It's the boobs Kyttyn! I'd sit on the can and stare at those knockers all creepy like too! lol

GaiaSpirits -> RE: Odd ball cat (10/14/2010 7:03:56 PM)

I go commando too so little protection.  My cat gets in my pants when I am on the throne too. That I do not mind so much.. Every once and awhile I don't pay him enough attention when I am on the throne be bats at places not meant to be batted at. usually claws in, if I delay out they come. I love my cat, but,....... preparing tp for use when he in there is fun too.

NEWS:
My cat is a streetwise Tom and very alpha. My new slave is bringing a rare hairless male tom cat here declawed and inside mostly. Mine is inside/outside. This should prove interesting. Guess this is where I will have to prove I am alpha over all, lol.
