i agree but unfortunitly  in Some cases, by time they show them selves to be complete and utter morons in office, well there already in office and liabel to stay there for a while. ive tried to keep up on reserach of canidates, and what there outlook was on subjects that involved me and i had some feelings about since i was elegiable to vote. but even with that some of these morons still slip through...  such is life i suppose.. though once they show there true colors i do make sure they are removed perminitly from any suport i would have given..

What you are referring to is SB 418 that was a ban on genital mutilation. However, the bill was so badly worded that it applied to piercings as well. The bill was not targeted toward piercings. The bill was not intended for piercings. Piercings only got included by accident.

Well, when the politicians heard about this, they quickly went into overnight session to put an amendment on saying that piercings were ok. The main sponsor of the bill, Bill Heath, stated that he didn't even know such a thing as genital piercings existed . It is LOGICALY IMPOSIBLE for a politician to have an agenda trying to ban something when that politician doesn't even know that something exists.

The amendment was written in before the bill even went to ratification. And when it did go to ratification, the thing died in committee when the general assembly ended that year. At no time, not even once, never, for no moment, at all, was SB 418 law.

But hey, an accidental wording that didn't even become law isn't as great a story as “Boo! Those evil nasty christens are all in a plot together to oppress us”

Dear American Cousins,
This small island is becoming more and more like Bush's USA, oh dear do I feel depressed now! Can anyone shed any light on why lots of American bondage/kinky websites are going offline? If they come back online again they have become tame fetish sites. I and my girl are mourning the loss of Devonshire productions amongst others.

NC will never go that way, as we have next to Burt's Bees, the largest WW distribution company in sexual toys, clothes and products based in Apex----we know them as Adam and Eve--the wrappers say PHS--and last year they were the Apex Chamber of Commerce, business of the year!
 
I find living in the bible belt so funny---dont want to see it but they'll order it---I cannot wait to see the rise in sales at Lowe's. Home Depot, the tack shops etc.

Yep... living in the middle of the bible belt has been a sight.... and i do believe.. lowes and home depot reported record sales last year... and it wasn't due to hurricane materials... LOL

One element in many cases is the religious fundamentalists (our version of clerics and Mullahs) applied massive political pressure so to appease them our govt. in its infinite stupidity came up with a revised version of a law known as 2257 (subsection of our penal code). Essentially its designed to be so onerous and burdensome that their hope was no one could comply with it and all websites would shut down. Sadly they seem to keep forgetting that there is this little document we have that our forefathers were bright enough to write out called the Bill Of Rights. Anyhow, a injunction was filed and its now wrapped up in court. Freedom of speech will prevail and this will go down as just one more of BushCo's 100% total failure rate during his "reign of terror". [:)]

Your TVslavedoll came across some bad information. The Supreme Court has not heard the current 2257 case yet and it could be years (if ever) that they would.

you de relize most states that have at least a few hard core conservatives introduce bills like this and other odd ones on occasion right?  Just like any state with ultra liberals introduces far left wing stuff.  It doesn't mean it goes anywhere. 

Besides, oral sex is already illegal lol.  Yet I can't seem to rememebr about anyone being brought up on charges for it.

And just whats wrong with handguns and the death penalty?????? Hmmmmm?

Unfrortunately.... I have. Got 3 years for indecent act against nature. After his door was kicked in on a warrent for drugs.. (they had wrong house ... they was two doors down).... but when they busted in... he was eating at the Y....got 3 years for it.

The thing is, it's not like the law can be enforced very well. If you purchase from the internet over state lines, it'd be legal (to the best of my knowledge). The US constitution grants the government the ability to control interstate commerce, not the state(although, they may indeed have that right and I might just be talking out of my ass here).

What ever the legality of a law like this, I wonder what the politicians are smoking... I could use some.

Attention! Sex toys are in fact banned in one other state. They sell them as 'novelties", meaning a gag gift- something to look at..but not be used in real life.

What this does is make toys cheaply wade. I bought how many nonquality toys that were a let down.

So-

A. you make your own.
B. find a quality online dealer.

This law is silly. Get the government out of the bedroom.

Enthusiasts will still show up at ER with Coke bottles stuck in their anus.
Will still use clothes pins, chair legs, spoons, hair brushes, curling irons.

I seen a double action fckk machine for $1800.00...online. Heck- that is cheaper then my last boyfriend.

These same men making this law- are often in the bookstores with glory holes and peep shows.

They then fake the happy marriage thing.

gag me.
