Hey everyone. I tend to lurk more then post in forums, due mostly to shyness. Even though It's easier to open up to people online, I've always been shy in front of a group, and forums are basically an online version of being in front of a bunch of strangers. SO... unless I really want to make my idea on a topic heard, I most likely won't post much.

Now that that's out of the way, a (not so) short introduction: I'm 20 years old and pretty new to BDSM in general. I've been interested in it for several years but never got a chance to practice it with my (at the time) girlfriend, mainly due to distance. Now that I'm single and over the breakup I'm looking for a girl to start a vanilla relationship with, to gradually build to BDSM and eventually TPE. (Skipping the vanilla part and starting at BDSM isn't out of the question, but starting at TPE is)

I may be new to practicing D/s but as I said, I've been interested in it for a while. I have a good idea of what I like and don't like, and I know a lot of the stuff I do like can be dangerous. That's one reason I want to take it slow and ease into the BDSM side of the relationship... another being that I'm (partially, at least) abstinent. I don't want a fuck buddy but a serious relationship, and part of that is getting to know each other before getting... closer. And as for sex, to any potential slaves reading this: there won't be more then anal or oral until marriage/collaring, if it gets to that point at all (and even that part will take at least a few weeks to a couple months of us seeing each other in person... just killed about half my prospects, but I'm not compromising on my views).

I like to take plenty of time to proof read my posts, make sure it's worded well and expresses my point the way I want it to before I click ok. I'll sometimes go back and read it three or four times, changing a word here or removing a sentence there, just so it's perfect. I know it's not that big a deal, but it's important to me to actually appear like it's worth your time to listen to me, unlike some other people you may come across online.

You show an amazing amount of maturity for someone your age, let alone someone who is much older. Your pride and commitment show through in taking the time to write a thoughtful and meaningful post. Not many in this day and age can do so and it's such a refreshing change from some of what pass as introductions here. I predict a bright future for you and the one lucky enough to find or be found by you. Communication is so important, yet few achieve it.

Thank you for the kind words. I agree that not enough people have the pride or patience to actually think out their comments before releasing them to the world.

And as for relationships... I've been through two already, both lasting about 3 years, give or take a few months. The first one is what 'awoke' my Dom side, but it didn't pan out because the girl was more "slightly submissive" rather then slave. The second one I just got out of couple weeks ago fell through mostly due to distance, but also personal differences.

Anyway, now that I better understand what it is I need from a girlfriend/slave, maybe things will work out better next time around. And thanks again to everyone for the welcomes!
