Just how many of the arguements on this forum are really relevant? In fact, how many threads are that important?

Just one is enough!

How much money should we spend, to protect the planet we live on; so that you moneky's uncles and aunts, can keep on bitching about....what ever is the current and latest bitchfest?

Now, I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but, we should really be putting more funding in to NASA and other programs that study, analysis, and find better ways of living. Now, in the time, until one hits our planet (like...a wikked long time from now...like....few thousand years), could we all learn to love one another just a bit more?

So lets get this straight, the only thing worth talking about is the threat of meteors crashing into Earth? No other conversation is worthwhile?

Believe it or not, I am very capable of considering the importance of meteors hitting earth, and the impacts of anthropogenic pollution... and both are worth thinking about, and that is only one example.

I didn't think the Tunguska event was a recent news story...
