It's the best I could do with what I have to work with here. I do remember, as a kid growing up, that many Halloweens were spent walking through inches of snow and wearing hastily thrown together costumes so they would fit over the parkas we were wearing underneath. Those were the most endearing images of Halloween, so I always associate it with Winter's first bite. Sadly, here in FL, the only way to feel even close to that wintry sting is by momentarily opening the door to the upright freezer and letting the cold air pour around me. It's not much of a bite either.
