One simple graph shows it all...

And, lookie that! All income brackets prosper under Dem administrations!

Great Googly-Moogly!

It looks like the chart shows that Democrats are the party of America--everyone does better with Democrats in charge, while under the Republicans, the rich just do less bad than others.

It is a propaganda: using statistics purposefully in misleading way. Truman 8 years (1945-1953, after WW II boom) were likely to contribute major Democrat advance. We know, Clinton years (another boom time) contributed most to the upper income bracket. So do Obama years so far. One should break the graph down to really understand what is going on. The likely result: Democrats and Republicans as parties have merged to one plutocratic party with two wings. My recommendation is to vote for a concrete candidate who has brains and ethics, ignore the parties.

I really hate to break the news to you, but the current economic crisis began before Obama took office.

The current recession started in December 2007, when the government was under Republican control.

It's official: Recession since Dec. '07
The National Bureau of Economic Research declares what most Americans already knew: the downturn has been going on for some time.

Last Updated: December 1, 2008: 5:40 PM ET

The National Bureau of Economic Research said Monday that the U.S. has been in a recession since December 2007, making official what most Americans have already believed about the state of the economy .

The NBER is a private group of leading economists charged with dating the start and end of economic downturns. It typically takes a long time after the start of a recession to declare its start because of the need to look at final readings of various economic measures.

The NBER said that the deterioration in the labor market throughout 2008 was one key reason why it decided to state that the recession began last year.

And has been determinedly and repeatedly extended and deepened by 0bama0.
He now owns it. In my mind. In the mind of the electorate (see: polls, 2010 election).

It must of been stuck to those cool custom cowboy boots.

Wanted to add that the article linked, below the graphic, is a really interesting read.

The G.W.Bush administration inherited a budget surplus from Clinton and Obama has been dealing with the budget mess of deficit spending that Bush  left him. Partisan politics are ruining this country. Obama has cut taxes to 98% of our population and hopefully he won't extend G.W.'s tax cut to the wealthiest 1.9% of tax payers.

cuckyman -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 8:37:56 AM)

You don't have it anywhere close to right... as usual.. The 'community redevolpment act' began under comrad Clinton's watch, (will admit Bush was asleep at the wheel during his time to understand what was happening with the government guarenteed mortgages handed out to deadbeats).... Freddie and Fannie were the tools that the left used to keep Republicans away from what was happening with trillions of bad mortgage dollars being handed out, and Barney Frank's committee in the house, as well as Dodd's help in the Senate, made sure this ticking bomb never came to light of day.... I still think it was an economic coups on the behalf of the left (see the Tides Foundation), to implode the economy so repubs could be blamed during Bush's watch...only it exploded so big as to collapse the banking industry worldwide.... now Nobama's trillions of spending is not able to restart the engine and I can't help but chuckle and think 'what goes around, comes around' as this very thing will sweep the dems out of power come November.... It is easy to understand what happened when you connect all the dots.... which you are obviouosly too caught up in your socialist viewpoint to consider..... but November is almost here and then a big ole dose of reality will come knocking on your door..... the party is over, and the check is now due.... thanks democrats.... that is really why democrats are NEVER to be considered for high office again..... it will be a looooonnnngggg before your party will every see power again...if ever.... read it and weep boys....it just ain't gonna happen.....

LaTigresse -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 8:50:06 AM)

Bless your heart Cucky......... I bet that canceled burning down there, really chapped your ass.

cuckyman -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 8:51:06 AM)

This line of crap is so far off the truth as to be laughable. Democrats have all been lying in unison about the 'Clinton' surplus..... the Balanced Budget Act was ENTIRELY created by the Gingrich led REPUBLICAN congress that came in 94.... they forced Clinton to go along with the spending cuts and the result was the balanced budget during that time. Clinton fought it hand and foot, but when it turned out to be a positive thing, the lying son of a bitch had the gonads to TAKE CREDIT FOR IT! Got to admit Clinton was the most shameless whore that ever served in the presidency...no one will ever be a more accomplished liar.... We had a little event called 9/11 that stopped the economy in its tracks during Bush, along with the Freddie and Fannie timebomb planted by the dems majorities in congress, and that imploded the banking system and allowed the dems to lie in unison about blaming Bush for everything but whooping cough..... only its come back to bite Obama in the ass as his spending and taxation policies failed to restart an economy untrustful of anything to do with the government..... well you ran your lies...spun your ilk...lied in unison....and the result is NO ONE BELIEVES A WORD of anything a democrat says about anything.... your party is about to be thrown out on its ass in less than sixty days, and no one deserves it more.... only this time it will be avery very very very long time before the democrats will be back in power...if ever..... lies don't cut it....and spin is just that...spin..... you might wish to consider what reallly happened....but that would reguire a brain.... and some honesty..... rare for a liberal to have both.... for sure....enjoy November... I sure will....lol

cuckyman -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 8:52:55 AM)

Not ever worth a reply...

cuckyman -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 8:56:12 AM)

Obama TRIPLED the Bush deficits.... and the dems are about to be thrown out their lying ass's trying to spin this crap.... well guess what...NO ONE is buying it.... and November is going to PROVE IT..... nice try...just not true...no even close....

BoiJen -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 9:29:20 AM)

Did you know that a majority of both Democrat and Republican candidates for various offices (specifically higher ones) refused to outright announce which party they're running with because both of the parties are running scared and hoping to cash in on the independent vote?

It was an AP report a couple of months back. I'll look for the article.

boi

cuckyman -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 9:35:12 AM)

The dems hold the most seats and they will feel the most wrath of the voters.... duh...

mnottertail -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 9:39:59 AM)

cucky, you shouldn't of all people be saying 'duh' to nobody.

BoiJen -> RE: Yep, Repubs really ARE the Party of the Rich (9/14/2010 9:46:05 AM)
