Do you know know know what it's like
To be searching in your own time?
All your attempting, experimenting
All on the climb?
Do you know know know what's like
To be searching and suddenly find
All your illusion, all your confusion
All left behind?

Slade - 'How does it feel?'

Sweet freedom whispered in my ear
You're a butterfly
And butterflies are free to fly

aching to pupate
aching to pupate
aching to pupate
aching to pupate
aching to pupate
aching to pupate
aching to pupate
pu-pu-pate
pupate
pupate
pu-pu-pate
pupate
I should peddle butterflies
there's a shortage in the city
i'll stand on a street corner
mysterious and giddy
when the passersby passby
i will open up my trenchcoat
they will see the butterflies
dangling like fake rolexes

Aching To Pupate - Regina Spektor

Still I knew
I'll be lured
Be consumed

And grass stains on my knees for you
Got holes in my new jeans for you
Got pink and black and blue

This is a good place to hear some good old memories. http://donsmusic.listen2myradio.com/
I know what you mean about certain words in songs reminding you of something in your life. Sometimes the words to a song can have a double meaning. I like those. I like songs that have a story to tell. The older ones are better for this. the ones where you can actually hear the words that is lol. Much of todays stuff don't do it for me, although there are exeptions I know. Then there are the ones you want to play for a special person! or even your worst friend lol
Have a sexciting time...

Pulls those shades down tight
Yeah she gives a smile when the pain comes
The pain gonna make everything alright."

Closer, move in closer
Closer now than
Than ever before
I doubt it that you can survive
So far from your trenches and your friends
This is where competition starts and
And all that ends
I sense a lot of tension
Loose, loose
Pull out your arsenal
Dance
Step into this room and dance for me
Step into this room and dance for me
Come on, lady, dance for me
Come on, come on, dance for me
Step into this room and dance for me

Oh what the hell she said
I just can't win for losing
And she lays back down
Man there's so many times
I don't know what I'm doing
Like I don't know now

By the light of the moon
She rubs her eyes
Says it's funny how the night
Can make you blind
I can just imagine
