No, we still have the same trails as those with simpler and/or baser motivations. I think the problem is definately one of communication, not honesty or integrity or any of that tripe I enjoy emulating. In my limited experiences I've come to the conclusion that the ways men communicate their ideas, emotions, and intentions is far removed from those of women; it's a language barrier plain and simple, and I think women like, perhaps want, to see us speak their lingo. And that makes perfect sense, we want them, often body mind and soul, and they want us to act in the way they like. I find it funny because it's the same desire, only we express it in a different palette of colors.
So, to extend the analogy of painting a bit further, perhaps past its limits, if a man wants a woman to notice him, he should put some of the colors she likes in his plummage... oh dear, that's a different metaphor, but I hope you can make the intellectual leap from painter to peacock.
