Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Ok, how can panties fit perfectly every where except the legs? (9/15/2010 11:22:48 AM)

I have complained twice. On fetlife, And that was more of a public service announcement type thing. That's not "always complaining"

Since I have never bought clothing online before this recent stint in trying something new, and have always had success buying clothing in real life stores, so I have not complained about my clothing experiences,  there hasn't been something to "always complain about"

And if you see an inquiry into why something is the way it is, as a complaint, it's your right, but you're putting your* incorrect spin* on my question. Complaints are * usually not always* negative, they serve no purpose but to gripe.

Questions enlighten you, they let you get information,  often times people have the same problems you do, and have advice. If not, then it's always kind of interesting to hear their stories about odd fit or clothing horrors, or share opinions and pass on information.

I do avoid things that are possibly going to be to small, I never buy things I can't try on  and" hope for the best". I order it in the size I need, and sometimes if I have any inkling it'll run small, a size bigger.

You don't seem to like me or my posts very much, if that's so why not just stay away from them. True you can post what ever you like, in whomevers thread you like, but it just seems easier to stay out of them if you don't like their content, or the poster.

If I have incorrectly ascribed something, than I'll say right now, sorry. But that's how it seemed.

Sweet baby Jehosephat. You are always complaining about clothing not fitting right. Did you ever stop to think that its not always the clothing, it just may be your body? If you stick to stores you know, you can kinda eyeball everything because you know the makers of the clothing and how it normally hangs. Going for a new store, you open yourself to not knowing how it fits. Even worse with panties because then you end up with product too big or too small. Try stuff on before you leave, or make sure you know the return policy (online and local stores). If you dont think the item will fit, or if you are skeptical, dont buy it. Flat out. Leave it there.

Never once have I said that I dont like you or your posts. If thats how you feel, fine. But thats not how it is. I just speak the truth. Feel free to pass me over if you feel that I am picking at you, or on you. I dont want to infringe on your happy bubble.

At any rate, and back onto your topic, you should know your panty sizes in 3 different forms, since it may help you out next time. I learned to do that early one. For example, know that you are a 2x or a 10 or a 24/26.

There are all those forms for panty sizes? I get a 7 or an 8, and that's what they are, pretty much.

It helps yeah, I was ordering clothing for daddy an they had 2x and 3 x and well clear on up to 9x, and I had no clue what waist size that came out to, and had to ask a sales rep lol.

Someone who wears a 40-48 in pants is a 2x.

Sizes can be really confusing.

pants or skirts are a 30 - 32,  which w*ould be 4 or 5 x depending on the store, so is that true for size 15 panties?

I'll have to call the plus size store that's local and get those stats in 3 different terms.

That was a good suggestion, thank you.

I thought that a perfect fit were those that fit around your ankles.

At least that's what Aileen told me.

This all goes back to the tip I gave about measuring on some other thread you had up.

I can tell you that I wear a size 26/28 in pants. In terms of X's, its a 2 or 3 depending on the style. Now, heres where it gets weird. If I buy them in relation to what pants size I wear, I go down a size. 22/24 or 24/26 (cant remember how its done right now) depending again, how its styled. But, as I said before, bodies are unique. I am shaped funny as hell. What works for me, wont work for you. It just took trial and error and several pairs of panties that were saggy, or crotch smothers.

Yep. Just rummaging through my laundry basket, I see an 8, a 22/24, and a 2x. If I remember correctly (the tags are kinda faded, and one is printed on the fabric), the 8s are from Fashion Bug, the 22/24 is from Lane Bryant and the 2x is from the local smut shop.
