They say Schumann went mad from a single note he couldn't get out of his head. I think a lot of us have songs like that, where if we hear any part of them they're stuck in our heads for days.
For me it's Vanilla Ice's mega-hit "Ice Ice Baby." It's so severe that if I hear the phrase "Alright stop" or "Okay stop" or anything similar my brain auto-completes "Collaborate and listen" and then the entire song plays in my head. In a constant loop. Until vodka and synth pop can finally wash it away. Since I have an abominably good memory for lyrics and remember every word of that song in particular it sometimes gets ugly.
So which songs are the absolute stickiest for your brain?
Something similar to this thread has probably been done but a hasty search didn't reveal any existing threads I could have posted this in instead. Forgive an uber-n00ber for screwing up if there was one started recently that I missed.
