ORIGINAL: truckinslave It's a county politico named Chris Coons. At the county level he was a big tax raiser. He once authored a paper entitiled, I believe Chris Coons, The Making of a Bearded Marxist. Emphasis mine. You will hear plenty from the Slimes, Daily Kos, and MSNBC, from the lamestream media, about the O'Donnell baggage and her unelectability. For info on how weak Coons is you might try some Fox News. Of course. [:D] Interesting. Bearded Marxist, emphasis yours. But you can barely remember the name of it so it is obvious you have not read it and don't know the first thing about it. Yet that doesn't stop you from putting forth negative innuendo. Chris Coons: The Making of a Bearded Marxist Chris Coons never claimed to have transformed into a bearded Marxist: His friends teased him that Kenya had somehow turned him from a “clean-shaven, clear-thinking American” into a “bearded Marxists.” Chris used the phrase to explain how his friends responded to the changes they noticed in him. They teased him because they were friends. And Chris, by using the phrase in his article was poking fun at himself as they had, even as he took the subject of the article very seriously. He wrote, for the whole of campus to see, how his experiences in college had changed him. . . . At his 25th reunion in June, Chris told an audience of classmates and their families and faculty who attended, the story about his mother’s response to the article at his graduation, twenty-five years prior. She had told him it would be misconstrued at some point and that it would come back to bite him. He laughed, telling his audience: Mothers are always right. Dave Hoffman, a Coons campaign spokesman, said the title of the article was designed as a humorous take-off on a joke Coons’s college friends had made about how his time outside the country had affected his outlook. Hoffman said the trip to Kenya helped lead to Coons’s decision to become a Democrat. There's that whole Kenya thing again too. Has anyone checked this guy's birth certificate?
