Actually, it was the result of conservatives, taking words our of context, and trying to make fun of it. Even after it was explained, they denied it all, as the fantasy was much better then the factual reality. Over the years, since the Clinton/Gore Administration, how often have conservatives, taken stuff out of context, changed it up, and tried to pawn it off as the 'original'? More times then it rains, in the Amazon Rain Forest!

Because the upper 2% haven't been paying the same rate as the rest of us bottom 98% for 'a couple' of years now? In fact, they've been paying less, compared to us jokers making $55K/year. BP next year, will most likely not have to declare paying taxes in the US, even though its projected to reap several billion in profits, from world-wide operations.
If your up to your eye balls in debt, is that a fault of the goverment, or yourself? Last I checked the economic figures, the national debt was $2 Trillion at the close of the Clinton Administration, and headed towards a surplus just two years later. The G.W.Bush Administration closed with a $12 Trillion debt, and head towards a further debt beyond it. Since 50+, million people voted for Mr. G.W.Bush on two consective terms, that means, they are responsible for the $10 Trillion in debt. So if those who voted for Obama have to pay for the stuff, Mr. Obama does; then its fair, those who voted for Mr. Bush, pay $10 Trillion in debt from G.W.Bush, AND, the remaining $.8 Trillion left over from the G.H.W.Bush Administration.
I'm perfectly happy with that arrangement, THELADY. How about you?
Mr. Obama only owns, about $1.4 Trillion after 33 months. Want to take a guess how much Mr. G. W. Bush owned of the national debt, after the same amount of time? At the same time, during G.W.Bush's 1st term, we were already in Afghanistan, and gearing up for Iraq, over those 'Massive Stockpiles of WMDs".

I've heard this 'triple the debt', from mostly conservative sources. Your telling me, there is an active conspiracy, within the DNC to turn $13 Trillion in to $39 Trillion, in under two years? I've learned with most conservatives; the lack of real, factual evidence, destroys their primary and secondary arguements. Doesnt, however, stop them from babbling the same nonsense over and over again.
Yes, the USA, is giving billions to Mexico; but you display a very unrealistic understanding of what that money is for. Part of it, is to fight the drug cartels currently at war with the Mexican goverment. Part of it, is to help economically disadvantage citizens; so they are not enticed to enter the USA illegally. That *IS* something you conservatives have been bitching about for a few months now. Some billions, go towards other economic and defense treaties and pacts the USA maintains, either through itself, or as part of the U.N.
