domiguy -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 7:21:02 PM)

No. They would try and steal each other's johns.

UmbraDomina -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 7:25:20 PM)

I am a dominant woman, and I have a great deal of fellow dominant females I would call friends, pals,and at times a support system

LadyPact -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 7:55:37 PM)

Why wouldn't a Dominant woman be able to be friends with other Dominant women?  Of course, it works like anything else in life.  Whether you make friends or not has a lot to do with yourself.  If you're the type of person that doesn't have a lot of friends in other aspects of your life, it's probably going to work out the same in the BDSM community.

PeonForHer -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 8:06:29 PM)

I wouldn't pick a Domme for a friend, MissSadi.   They're all smelly.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 8:09:45 PM)

Sigh. Can't keep you mens happy for anything, Peon!

Not unrealistic, at all. It is the fabric of the Sisterhood. We have the uncanny ability to network and draw strength from each other.

almira -> RE: unrealistic? (9/15/2010 8:49:45 PM)

are you serious why would u even ask this question.

dominant men have dominant friends...i mean how the hell is it unrealistic that a domme cant be friends with another domme?

Absolutely. My companion of 15 years is a dominant female, as am I. In addition, we have a number of dominant female (and dominant male) friends, associates, acquaintances, and additional members of our 'family'. That being said, having friends requires -being- a good friend, and so the success of our friendships is always dependent on how we treat one another. Our family has a long history of treating others (including other family members and associates) with dignity and grace, regardless of the side of the kneel or the orientation of the individual.

Voodali -> RE: unrealistic? (9/16/2010 11:31:27 AM)

No.  They would have to fight to the death upon seeing one another, after which, the winner would store the loser in a cocoon, and digest her juices later, in preparation for mating with the loser's sub, whose head she would promptly bite off.

Steponme73 -> RE: unrealistic? (9/16/2010 3:08:11 PM)

LOL...Voodali...maybe you should be Ms. Mantis or Ms. Widow...

Best answer yet!

*makes mental note never to get too close to Voodali or the LaT-ster*

As a submissive, there is little that can be more frightening than seeing your owner chatting happily with Her other dominant friends. If you can somehow steer their conversation away from yourself, no biggie; but if They latch onto You, WATCH OUT!!! Dominant women in groups (was tempted to use gaggle there, but mayhaps that wouldn't have been smart... am getting timid in my old age? eep!!) can get their creative juices flowing to nightmare proportions. They don't even care if you hear, for that matter they see what gets that deer in the headlights reaction and pounce.

So, for the love of all that is holy.

KEEP YOUR OWNER AWAY FROM OTHER DOMINANT WOMEN!!!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: unrealistic? (9/17/2010 11:10:01 AM)

AGAIN with the mens giving away our SEEEEEEEEEEKRITS!!!

Which admittedly are not super seeekrit since the cackling invariably gives us away... [8D]

YSG -> RE: unrealistic? (9/17/2010 11:37:32 AM)

darchChylde,,
At that point, it may be wise to use the french method: RUN AWAY!!! [:D]

now to be serious, OP, I dont see why a dominant women can't have other dominant friends of either gender. Alot of times, subs band together for strength and support, as well as mentoring. Being a lone wolf in this lifestyle can actually impede your growth, no matter if you're dominant or submissive.

darchChylde -> RE: unrealistic? (9/17/2010 11:41:47 AM)

I'm a little disappointed that the trolls haven't already blown this thread up at my mention of dominant women's juices flowing. What's going on, is Xena on or something?
