Awwwwwww. Now that's cute. You can choose not to believe it but I would be quite tempted to get out of the car and pet his snout. Of course having not experienced the moment I can't say for sure that I'd have done it, but I like to think I would. My major problem would be if he decided he liked me. Really, it does not look like an attack, more like curiousity.

Actually I don't think I would worry so much. I would probably laugh my ass of. That bcause I am pretty sure a Volkswagon can outrun an elephant. Notice the driver is just sitting there, I don't see any tires spinning do you ?

Now this one is a different story. What exactly is that, a big wave hitting a breakwall ? If so I would have some concern about the breakwall breaking.

*grins* Yes, I saw that when the Hubby person and I went to FL for our honeymoon. Driving along the road on our way out to Cape Canaveral (which is also a huge nature preserve, I was pleased to see), there were throngs of them, mostly about the size of the Avon Gator up there, just chillin' in the sun along the side of the canals like regular folks. Like most wild things, I'm guessing they'd be more afraid of a human than a human would be of them..
Then again, there was the big fat sumbitch that the gal from SC caught recently, who supposedly weighed something in the region of a half-ton. I wouldn't test that theory with him, thanks just the same.. [&:]
