You have said before now that the last person you voted for was Reagan. (That'd make it '84 not '88, for which I apologise.) If you can't get your story straight and stick to it, you'll never be any good as a liar, old chap.

I said before that the last ****REPUBLICAN**** president I voted for was Reagan.
You know, I'm just not good at English politics that's why I stay out of them.

So then who did you vote for Popeye?

Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, or Obama.

Or all of them?

Rule, who did you vote for?

Why is that relevant?

I'm not the one making the claim.

If the last Republican you voted for was Reagan then either you voted Democratic, you voted for a fringe party candidate, or you just do not vote.

It's a simple question.

RML, knows he needs to keep the discussion about Popeye. And off of what the democratics are doing.

It reeks of desperation.

It is funny though that some posters are so obbsessed with Popeye, they follow him around trying to catch him in a "lie". They remeber off hand comments made by conservatives, sometimes for over a year.

RML made a false accusation. Did he apologize when corrected, no (he's a lefty and they don't do that). He acts indignant, and changes the term of the attack.

the honest posters can see this.

The same thing is playing out nationally too.

Actually, I made a false accusation, by referring to the claim which Popeye has made a few times now, and which he now seems to be trying to change, while not going into any detail about hwhat else he might have done.
Maybe he's one of the sorts who helped Clinton win his first term by voting for Perot? I could understand if he was so embarrassed about that he hasn't voted since. The way he talks he's obviously never voted for a Democrat...

Well lets see, the Repubs pushed TARP in 2008, and the first of the so called stimulas packages before Obama and the current crop of dems were even in congress...

Then the Repubs have voted no on every measure sent to congress, including repealing DADT, which if repubs are really for gay rights makes no sense.

Well, let's consider the FACTS. In 2008 the Democrats controlled Congress, conservative Republicans opposed TARP and Obama, Reid and Pelosi not only were in Congress but all voted "AYE" for TARP. In 2009 the Democrats still controlled Congress, Republicans pushed using left over TARP funds to pay down the deficit but Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the current crop of Dems all pushed using left over TARP funds to stimulate the economy.

Then Obama, Reid and Pelosi have repeatedly told the Republicans to "Shut up and stay out of the way!" and/or "We won!", including repealing DADT, which if dems really support our troops is hypocritical.

While everybody's discussing old news, perhaps this is relevant?
(Probably not, but it made me laugh...)

The fact is Bush bullied through TARP using fear-mongering the same way he did with the Iraq invasion.

That being said, I think it was the right move.  Consider the large number of banks that have failed even with TARP and think of how many more would have went under without it.  Those TARP funds are being repaid.  If the government would have had to step in to shore up the FDIC the money would still have been spent but without benefit and without any repayment.

The program was definitely mismanaged and poorly designed, but you can only lay that at the feet of Bush and Paulson.

And your implication that TARP was passed by Democrats is simply not true.  Thirty-four Republican Senators and ninety-one Republican members of the House voted in favor of the bill.

Luckydawg, you're right! They're like Zombies! Now I voted for Perot? They just keep going, arms outstretched in front of them worshiping the "King Zombie" Obama!
"Obama,.....gooooooood, Obama,.........gououoouooouood!"
And of course nothing about how the Democrats realize that they're a rotten party and hated by the voters.

And still no answer to the question.

Just deflection and evasion.

More evasion to what should have been a simple question.

But let's try again.

If the last Republican you voted for was Reagan then who did you vote for, or did you not vote at all?

Damn Popeye RML really has a hard on for your voting record.

and yes My bad, It was moonhead who made the false accusation, not RML. RML picked it up and is still running with it.

I really like your revisionist history. Tarp was introduced by Bush, voted FOR by an OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF Republicans, and the Republicans have been stonewalling DADT since Obama first called for its repeal. Sen. McCain even backpedaled from his "I will vote to repeal Dont Ask Dont Tell if the secretary of defense calls for it," to actually being against repealing DADT.

You really need to get your facts straight, but why should I expect you to tell the truth about anything that happened during the Bush years.

Better Lucky?

You do know that the votes for TARP are public domain, and factcheck.org is very clear about the whole vote, INCLUDING the Republicans who voted FOR Tarp and now claim to have voted against it.
