I get the point about gerrymandering Rich, its the same here in the UK. Infact in the 2005 general election, the two main parties got an almost equal number of votes, yet Labour won 280+ seast to the Conservatives 190+ . The thing we need to ask ourselves is is the situation being addressed. There is a move in the UK to change the voting system that we now have. There is also an independent panel whose job it is to look at electoral boundaries so as to provide an equal spread of voters. As for the "turn back the clock" remark. I read that the same way Thornhappy did.
