Is your personality one that is generally optimistic, or are you more a pessimist?

Are you very realistic and grounded, or superstitious and irrepressibly imaginative?

Do you allow a dominant person into your head or do you remain mentally independent?

Im generally optimistic, to a sickening degree, but I always have a plan B..just in case.
I am both realistic and grounded, with a very hungry and active imagination.
There is room in my head for one, and I love it when he visits me there.

I'm normally optimistic but, like poise, I always have a Plan B just in case. Gotta have a back-up plan just in case though. I like being prepared for a possible change in plans.
I try to be realistic and grounded, but I can also have a wild imagination at times. As for being grounded, I've realized recently that I can be impulsive and I'm working on that.
I'm not sure what you mean by getting "into your head." A Dominant can really do some headtrips on me, but I do my best to remain clear, balanced, and retain my ability to think in reality. Not sure if that's the kind of answer you were looking for though.

i like to think i'm realistic and grounded but others see me as pessimistic. those people are the ones who usually have not experienced the things i've seen. and Master's been in my head since the day we met. unfortunately real life requires my independence.

Depends on the day.

Are you very realistic and grounded, or superstitious and irrepressibly imaginative?

Realistic and grounded, not superstititous, yet irrepressibly imaginative.

Do you allow a dominant person into your head or do you remain mentally independent?

I always remain mentally independent despite who I care about.

I tend to be cynically optimistic with moments of pessimistic positivity.

Are you very realistic and grounded, or superstitious and irrepressibly imaginative?

I'm realistic and grounded with a smidge of superstitiousness and tons of imagination.

Do you allow a dominant person into your head or do you remain mentally independent?

I'm independent, mentally or otherwise, but I'm open to opportunity.

Would now be a good time to mention I identify as a switch who happens to be a gemini?

I believe heavily in realism-based snark.

There isn't a way into my head. What comes out for view are the crumbs we get to see on display here.

I think it's generous.

very realistic i would like to think, though my Master would say i am a pessimist of the highest order. it is true that i tend to expect the worst possible outcome for every situation, and am actually surprised and taken aback when things turn out well. but i like to think of that as being prepared...emotionally, mentally.

I've been nicknamed Pollyanna because I so strongly believe in an optimistic outlook.

I'd like to think I'm realistic and grounded (but I'm not very sure if that is true or wishful thinking) There is little to no room for superstition in my head because it is overly full of vivid imagination.

Of course he is in my head! Hmmmm that didn't come out the way I wanted it to lol but he is very much in my head. I like it that way and if he weren't in my head I think it'd be rather lonely. Not to mention it is where he wants to be and he is awfully persistant in getting what he wants.

Pessimistic, due to life. There was a time when I was optimistic, due to life. Both times have lasted for years, so rather than calling it bipolar, I'd call it b.....i.....p.....o....l....a...r.
(jk of course. Responding naturally and realistically to changing life circumstances over long spans of time is not what I'd call a mental illness.)

I am both. I alternate on this one, can switch from one to the other and back in a flash.

If they are the right dominant, there's no question that they get into my head. Whether I allow them in or not is a question for the jury. This happens usually quite soon, but only if they feel (smell?) right. If they aren't right, I cut contact quickly or never begin it.

Why are you asking these questions?

Realistic and grounded, not superstitious, and very imaginative.

I allow him into my head and retain my independence.

These are not "either/or" situations for me.

i dont go around believing the world is out to get me and the day is going to be shit - i go at it with the belief that the energy i put in ill get back so i go at it positively and it seems to work.  negativity gives me a headache, especially from others.  im not even sure what grounded is, so im guessing no to that one - im a bit of a walter mitty where imagination is concerned - it takes me all over the place.  ive always been that way 'a dreamer' was how my mother described me and my teachers too.

projecting myself into someone elses head is a muddling concept for me - so how do they do that to me - my head is my space and what goes on in there is a permanent filtering process that is by and large sub concious.  what i do i think is let in the vulnerability and trust i totally love as a feeling.  its like opening a door and i let them in if i feel its safe to do so or they want to.  its a drip drip drip process.  i think the only limit to that is determined by the other person really and how much they want to give to you to absorb.

Optimistic overall.

Not superstitious , not necessarily grounded and realistic all the time either.

Do you allow a dominant person into your head or do you remain mentally independent?

Both

In support of your master... just a bit of a reality check. If you get the answer roughly right most of the time, that's realistic. If, on the other hand, you are finding yourself pleasantly surprised frequently, then you are some brand of un-realistic ... probably pessimistic. ~laughs~ Sorry, but them's the facts and he's right.

Somewhere in the middle, I guess. I try to look at the world objectively, have a backup plan in case things go wrong, and also be prepared to take advantage of unforeseen opportunities if things go bettter than expected. But I probably lean a little towards pessimism, just because I would rather temper my expectations and be pleasantly surprised than hope for too much and be disappointed.

Are you very realistic and grounded, or superstitious and irrepressibly imaginative?

Definitely not superstitious. I'll go for realistic, grounded and irrepressibly imaginative, which works for me because I'm able to distinguish between fantasy and reality. However, I try not to forget that it's sometimes possible to bring things that appear fantastic at first glance into the real world. Heavier-than-air flying machines, for example.

Do you allow a dominant person into your head...

Not literally, though I might allow a little bit of her into my mouth now and then. On a more figurative level, I've always been quite forthcoming about sharing my thoughts with dominants, and as far as I'm aware no one has ever tried to "get inside my head" in the sense of manipulating me psychologically. Although maybe it was just so subtle and cleverly done that I didn't notice!

...or do you remain mentally independent?

I've never had a sense that my mental independence was being compromised. See above.

I am an optimistic person i thry to see the best in every situation. I alway hope for the best but plan for the worst just to be on the save side. Caust the might be a sliver lining on those clouds but alsomight be a thunderstorm. You never know

I am not superstitious. most of it is bunk anyway. Things like not walking under a ladder hello that is plain old common sense. irrepressibly imaginative that sounds like me. I don't live in a dream world but i am not a hard core realist either.

Master is in my head but i still an an independent thinker, if i was not we could not have the lively disucussions we have on matter's we may disagree on.

In my head, I'm much more of a pessimist, though most who know me would call me an optimist. I figure I might as well not go around ruining everyone's day with my pessimism.

Are you very realistic and grounded, or superstitious and irrepressibly imaginative?

Define "superstitious." I believe in things that are absolutely beyond most humans' senses, such as ghosts or psychic energy. However, I consider this as being grounded, rather than walking around arrogantly thinking that, as a human, I can rationally explain every single occurence on Earth.

Do you allow a dominant person into your head or do you remain mentally independent?

Not just "a" dominant person is "allowed" into my head, but Sir has definitely taken up residence there, at his own volition.
