DeMint had no serious Democratic opposition anyway. So I welcome Alvin Greene. Since the race is a foregone conclusion anyway, let's get some laughs out of it.

And then I thought, what IF....

Suppose that Greene pulls off the upset of the millenium and wins. He would then be a massive buffoon and a giant-killer at the same time. The GOP would respond with scorn for him, but how would his fellow Dems treat him? is there some kind of this-is-how-to-be-an-elected-official course they could send him to, and teach him how to speak and write?

Well at least the Tea Party would welcome him, they're really into the idea of electing the average guy next door and I'm sure we've all lived next door to some idiot at least once. I think we could see some real bipartisanship in Washington...they could share coloring books or something.

I think Alvin`s been indicted on felony sex charges,which would fill out his GOP credentials right there real well......
