Well, I know for a fact they're doing similar things in Massachusetts. I recall hearing about a group of anti war activists who were based in Northampton MA discovering that the group had been infiltrated by FBI undercover agents. Apparently many of their rallies and meetings had been photographed and documented, and personal information of group members was being collected. Paranoid or not, it makes me wonder just what "My tax dollars at work" are working for.

kids, hate to tell you, but investigating citizens that pique their interest has been a long time habit of the FBI, CIA and whatever alphabet soup organization that has the capability for decades. what country have you been living in all these years? my grandfather was aware of this behavior back in the 50's and he's been dead forover 25 yrs. anyone remember the communist witch hunts of the 50's? it isn't just gun enthusiasts who attend those public sales of weapons and ammo. and now it's even easier to track citizens with computers. wake up people.

Yep, I've got to agree they have been doing this since time began. It is nothing new. I know for a fact the FBI checked me out 15 years ago and deemed me a boring citizen. I have an FBI friend who let me know what was in my file. In today's day and age with home grown terrorists and then some it is a necessity.
