(9/23/2010 9:17:57 AM) the guy was from michigan, what do you expect, lol! yes i live in ohio, we pick on each other. seriously, the guy should be locked up in the parrot's cage and left there. yes they can bite very hard and can draw blood, but if i was that parrot i would have bitten more than his finger! what kind of an idiot puts a bird in a backpack, shakes the feathers right off it and claims he's training it? knowledgeable bird owners, even finch and parakeet owners, accept that they might get nipped if they upset their birds. they're easily injured, you cannot shake a bird. i hope the bird gets some loving owners and the guy gets the book!
