A nation that will exchange liberty for security deserves neither-----------Thomas Jefferson

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"  Benjamin Franklin.

This was also said in a slightly  different form by Jefferson who makes it clear he was quoting Franklin.  I have always heard the attribution as being Franklin as the original source.   Never-the-less, the point is valid no matter whom is quoted.

FR-
I am still waiting for the "small government" types, the "Don't tread on me" Tea Party liberty-loving patriot flag wavers to decide that giving nearly unlimited power to the government to eavesdrop on us is a problem.

Or if they will meekly bow and accept it.

Anyone wanna lay odds?

As long as the warrants are issued on probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, being able to serve them in a new media shouldn't be an issue.

Of course, the Fourth was pretty well gutted by the war on drugs, long before the war on terror thing became the next big thing.

Don't hold your breath. This is another step in the direction of American fascism. It IS coming people, as exemplified by the public acquiescence in not telling our govt....no !! I've been telling you, we will soon be China which is called a communism while actually a capitalist fascism where we (the US) is called a democracy that has already started down the same road.

Oh BTW, if you think these searches on the Internet will all have a duly sworn warrant...then you obviously believe everything govt. tells you.

Recall kinkroids...EVERYTHING Hitler did...was legal according to German law.

Nothing you posted constitutes "abuse". Who was harmed? Why havent they sued?

Willbeur please stop.

For the love of God stop, before you hurt yourself and I end up feeling guilty.

Lets see...a concession is..the 1.: admitting of a point claimed in argument. 2. : something conceded: a : acknowledgment, admission b : grant .or (1) : a grant of land or property especially by a government in return for services or for a particular use (2) : a right to undertake and profit by a specified activity (3) : a lease of a portion of premises for a particular purpose; also : the portion leased or the activities carried on

according to merriam webster.

Ive bolded the part I assume wilbur is alluding to but I see no such admitting, concdeding, any acknowledgement, admission or grant of correction.
I do see sarcasm, I do see a "non" answer. But I no way see a concession. of any kind.
no wonder you are confused RML you thought wilbur could be honest?
