There are dozens of things that Otter does that bring joy to my life! They include possessing certain character traits which contribute significantly to our companionship chemistry, and specific, voluntary tasks he performs, which enhance my quality of life. In essence, our relationship is over-the-TOP *VALUE ADDED*.
1. He is intelligent, and ATTENTIVE!
2. He is loving, and accepting of Me.
3. He is active in combining the above, to continuously find ways to please me, WITHOUT *demand energy*. Meaning he gives from his heart, without me feeling like I owe him anything for it.
Just about every day, he makes my tea and breakfast. He often cleans the kitchen and cooks our meals, including packing my lunch. He enjoys brushing and fixing my hair. He irons my work uniforms. He turns down the bed at night, and makes sure we have water available for midnight thirst quenching.
Otter communicates his emotions, needs and desires articulately. Again, it is not an *I need from you* situation....more like...."My work situation is going to be quite intense in the upcoming month. I want you to know that I'd rather be home with you every evening, but there will likely be some nights I'll need to stay late to meet deadlines."
Otter is ACCESSIBLE. Not only physically, whenever I want him, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I am a Sadist.....he endures and suffers FOR ME.
This past weekend, we went camping. I like to bite. Otter has a circle of small, intense bruises around his left nipple...about 7 bites. Quite a pretty design :) I like to poke the bruises, because he giggles and winces. I started saying the word *LOVE* in a sing-song voice as I poked the bruises...but then made him sing instead. Four days after the fact, I can reach over and poke him (wherever we are) and he humors me by singing the word *LOVE*. Yes, we are still honeymooning....and enjoy being silly.
He PLAYS with me. We frolic. He is not stoic, or a robot. He uses all his abilities to enhance our live together.
I am exceptionally blessed!
