I don't have a chip on my shoulder, the women who raised weren't abused, they were just treated badly. And I didn't say all men are idiots, just most of them, especially the ones around where I live.
Now to be honest if you want a pissing match, I can go that route, all I wanted was to hear what people considered a submissive male to be, and you guys are turning this into a he-said-she-said thing.
Next time I ask a question I'll keep in mind that their are overly sensitive people that get easily offended when a person speaks how he feels about something.
But this isn't the best way to welcome someone into your community.

Dont feel offended. It's just that the points you raised are brought up very frequently here. Regulars have become quite jaded about such matters. A lot of subs say that they'll do what a woman wants them to do, but when it comes down to it, they don't. Or they can't. People aren't true to themselves; people lack the guts.
For my money, I think you have the basis of the right attitude and I think you'll go far. It's true that many so-called subs are into their own kink, and their own kink only. My own belief is that such subs are restricting themselves. They could have a lot more fun by expanding their range.
I think: be brave enough to follow what turns you on, no matter how deep and how radical it goes . . . and you won't go far wrong. But don't expect it always to be comfortable. ;-)
