Warts and all, we tend to protect even the most offensive speech/expression.

It`s gotta be more than offensive or disgusting to have our government interfere.

Doesn`t mean folks can counter protest and employ speech to answer back.

When the clown troupe descended on a klan/nazi march in Knoxville,it totally deflated the ugliness and bad faith players, turning the event into a victory for the normal folks.

they presume they will never die, that anyone would give a thought.

the axe swings both ways.

I think it should absolutely be legal for them to protest in any way they choose, no matter how ill conceived it is.

I also think it should be legal for any family member of the deceased to shoot the protestors in the head for their lack of respect for  the people who are mourning a dad, mom, wife, husband, son, daughter, lover, whatever...

Phelps and his daughter are both lawyers, though he has been disbarred.

They know how to tread the line.

Apparently not!

They are not, "skirting the law," Pogo, they are exercising their free speech in the most disgusting and vile ways they can come up with.

I certainly don't think I could vote to convict an impacted person at a funeral who unloaded on these pricks with anything from words, to fists, to .45's, though.

If I`m not mistaken, the WBC see`s it this way.

Because abortion is legal in America,God hates America.God hates America so badly that`s he`s killing our GI`s.

The WBC nutters feel compelled to remind us of this,at their funerals.

That too. You see, G-ds mind is limitless, he can hate America for more than one reason.
