Oblivious as I am when it comes to the internet, I just noticed this section today.
Thought I'd post about my boy.
In July/Aug of 2005, I had made an entry in my journal here on collarme about needing a webslave. He messaged me asking me what exactly I needed and mentioned he lived about 4 miles away. We traded email addresses. Then we traded a few emails. Then we met for dinner. Then we met several times at the city park. Then I invited him to my house. (This was over the course of a few months.) Eventually, I collared him with an exploratory collar. At the end of the term for the exploratory collar, we sat down to 'review' and see what direction we wanted to move. It ended up that we didn't go forward with the next level of collaring. But we still remain very good friends. I talk to him on the phone several times a day. He comes to the house once or twice a day, and spends the night every now and then. We're still not sure where we stand exactly on the collar, but after knowing him 8 months, I can't imagine not having him in my life. I still consider him my boy (and I think deep inside he feels the same way) and hopefully in the future he'll be wearing my collar again.
