If you had bothered to read my first post, you wouold have niticed that I documented it 20 years BEFORE we elected a black president.

I did read your post and do not deny such things have happened.

You are missing my point, which is that this has become the new conservative hysteria.

And it seems to have magically started with the election of Obama.

Barack The Magic Negro

Rule, "conservative hysteria?"
Wouldn't the police be concerned if *any* certain group were targeted such as homosexuals or elderly women?
I know plenty of conservative and liberal men and I don't see any "hysteria" here in S. Carolina.
And perhaps you could explain to us this "liberal white male guilt" thang? What's that all about? Surely you don't feel "guilty" for the actions of others 150 years ago during slavery in this country, do you? Wouldn't (doing) something like that be considered a psychological disorder?

Why would I have any "slavery guilt?

1. I never owned any.

2. None of My ancestors did (too poor)

3. This part of TN overwhelmingly went Unionist and fought that way.

Um, this is my first post, and I expect to get slammed for my "inexperience" on the matter, but wouldn't it be fair to say that ALL ethnic, religious, etc. groups have both been wronged and have wronged others?  Black people, White people, Mexican people, Asian people, all the peoples of the world have had atrocities committed against them, and they've all committed atrocities of their own as "Rightful vengeance" or just plain hatred.  No group is perfect, and no group has survived unscathed.  Quoting anecdotes to single out your own people as somehow better than the rest simply leads to everyone else trying to say their group is the one that's better.  If you feel I'm wrong, feel free to say so, these are simply my own beliefs, and I feel confident in stating them.

Matt, welcome to the forums!

What on earth possessed you to make your first post in Politics and Religion?

Because I love politics and religion.  It's my favorite topic of debate amongst my friends, hehe.  Also, this is a topic I tend to get my hackles raised over, for some odd reason.

But yeah- people complain that many slam the town I live in- but based on what I see when I go for a walk- it is deserved.  Try it some time.  Walk or bike- you will see things you do not notice when driving thru.

I do all the time, we don't have that kind of litter problem.  The county does a good job but we also have one of those adopt-a-road programs where local businesses and organizations volunteer to maintain a certain section of roadway in return for putting up a sign that gives them some free publicity.

I don't feel guilty for anything but maybe you can explain to me when and where all this reverse racism nonsense started and why.

And before you say it, yes, I acknowledge that everyone can be racist, but there has been a conservative hysteria since Obama was elected.

Let's look at the whole Black Panther issue.  What they did was intimidation, yet it did not rise to the level of being able to be prosecuted.  The Justice Department under Bush reached the same conclusion.

But we ended up having every conservative commentator in the country turning this isolated event into a national issue by implying that there was no prosecution because Obama and his Attorney General are black.

Willbeur, try and strain your brain and flesh out your ideas, because your one-line posts say nothing.
