ORIGINAL: tazzygirl How many of these are over whistle blowers? The vast majority of them. EEOC investigations are brought as a result of individual's discrimination on the job or unlawful termination complaint. Every company Ive ever worked for with more than 30 employees has had at least one EEOC complaint/investigation while I worked there. (Yes, including one against me for firing a pregnant woman - she lost). "Barnes also noted that such complaints are on the rise, pointing to statistics that reveal retaliation complaints filed with the EEOC had increased from 18,198 in 1997 to 33,613 in 2009. "They are very common," Barnes said." And Herridge still works at Fox. Typical MediaMatters garbage. I spent 7 years in a company with 150 employees. No EEOC there. Same with me, only it was 4 different companies for a total of 11 years.
