EEOC Litigation Statistics, FY 1997 through FY 2009

K.

That was a lot lower than I thought.

Thats because its LITIGATION statistics, not complaint/investigation statistics which exceeded 30,000 in the last year reported (I think it was 2009 but maybe 2008) and has increased signficantly over the last 4 or 5 years. As someone said above "anyone can sue", and anyone can complain to the EEOC. Between bogus claims and settlements, actually getting to the point of a suit is rare.

Nope, just asked you a perfectly valid question that you are evading.

What a surprise!

So, let's try again Popeye.

Why would you trust your personal and business legal affairs to someone you would not trust in public office?

Yes, Yes, weak insults. All we expect from you.

So having noted that there is nothing unusuall or noteworthy about the Fox issue, RML decides to demand popeye justify his beliefs. About a completely unrealted topic.

Definatly a lesser troll.

lenscrafters

u.s. steel
club gabys
lowe's

at&t
walmart
vanguard group
dollar general

the list goes on and on and on....just do a simple google search. It goes on forever.

Not taking anyone's side. I have no idea if this woman is in the right or wrong but I mean the EEOC does indeed sue everyone.

I am wondering though if all of those firms have been sued for...

...unequal pay and job conditions based on her gender and age. And...

...included language in Herridge's employment contract intended to stop her from making any more complaints.

Most of the 1000's of complaints for racial and sexual discrimination...not all but most including for unjust dismissal are unwarranted. But this employment contract is a form of intimidation requiring her to sign away her rights under the law...if...IF the EEOC can prove its case in court.

While society has decided it to be legal to pay someone a salary sufficient enough to sign away certain labor rights such as overtime etc., (exempt from wage & hour laws) do we see a trend and how far do we go if...IF we allow employers to force any prospective employee to sign away any of their rights...under the law ?

We cannot allow this to happen because eventually, yes it will take time but recall both wage & hour laws and bankruptcy laws were changed under Bush & Co., it is possible soon...all applicants will be forced to sign away their labor rights to get any job.

I asked him a question based on his negative opinion of attorneys and you decided to interject your opinion that I am a troll.

Which seems to be your opinion of everyone here who does not share your political views.

Bad puppy!
