The OP means she is 6'2".....I perved her profile. OP, I guess it's just a case of some Doms love tall women and some don't. Plus, there are some really tall Doms out there too. I'm 6' tall & plus-sized and it seems I've never had a problem with it. My Daddy's tall too, but the way I see it, is when I'm on my knees, He's taller than me no matter what. lol

Goodness, thanks for the translation sweetsub, I'd have never known because I was going with the Amazon.com explanation.

OP, it's hard at times to accept one's limitations and how you view yourself, but some men will find you appealing and all you can do is put yourself out there for them and hope they find you. I would go so far as to say the best thing you can do to be more appealing to a Dom is to accept who you are, and radiate that self-acceptance. I'm sorry, I know you probably were looking for more technical help than that but you really can't change certain things about your appearance so you might as well make the best of it.

Honestly, I don't think that there's a lot you can do about your height or build; Your height and build are simply a part of who you are.

We nearly all have preferences when it comes to height and build, and a very tall powerful looking submissive may well intimidate some Doms. That said, I'm with DarkSteven - I'd quite enjoy Dominating an "amazonian"... This is a very very broad community, and I suspect there'll be plenty of Dom gents out there who would find your stature quite a turn-on.

I've taken a peek at your profile, and the first thing that jumped out was if you want to attract more attention from dominant men, perhaps you should add "dominant men" to your looking for criteria?

Also, if you added a pic to your profile you'd certainly get more attention (although as many of the other ladies on the site would tell you, the additional attention may turn out to be a mixed blessing!).

My partner is 6'2" tall, and I'm 6' tall; we're both technically switches, though she's more of a sub, and I'm more of a dom. She didn't do anything to make herself more "appealing" to me. The attraction was that she is the most fiercely intelligent, challenging, creative women I have ever met; I couldn't resist her, even if she does tower over me in heels. (Though she can do the most convincing doe eyes when she wants to.)

Basically, the best thing you can do is put yourself out there, be as "you" as you possibly can be, and keep an eye out for someone who is interesting, and interested in you.

Exactly! I am 5'9" but I live in 4 inch heels (or more) so I am 6 foot 1 inch tall any given day of the week and with a 34 inch inseam and I haven't met a man yet that doesn't like a leggy woman in some sexy shoes. Thinking it over, I think you're getting some platitudes (including the one from me), which are nice, if not very practical, and some sound profile advice (pictures help, even if they're a probably a bad idea from a privacy standpoint).

I'm curious, though: what are you doing, at present, to attract Doms, and in what ways has it failed to work? Have you been writing to interesting people on this site? Have you attended munches and other events? (And if so, have you made sure to go up to people and introduce yourself?)

What lead to your post? Have you been dating/chatting/etc, and hitting dead ends? Or have you just been brooding about being alone without putting yourself out there? If it's the latter, then the answer probably lies in getting out there; if it's the former, maybe we can present you with more tactical advice (but your post was kind of light on useful details).

Hmm. A 6'2" girl? That would be interesting -- never been with a girl even close to my height. My property's 5'11" (I think. I generally categorize most people as "short" rather than remember their heights -- because they're almost always smaller than me). Which I prefer for some reason; short girls just do it for 6'5" me.

I'm 5'11" and find girls over 5'6" or so to be "too tall" for me. My current girl is just under 5 feet and when I hug her it feels just right. She doesn't seem short (or tall) to me, but perfect.

I am 6'1'' and never find women taller than myself. I would have to agree with some of the other posters, I would get a kick being a dom to a taller woman. And this just goes to a primal instinct of wanting to top someone taller or bigger than myself I guess.

The same things that most submissives do to appeal to dominants. I like a girl who, even in her dirtiest work clothes, has that indefinable "feminine" look to her.

I have no issues with having a tall female and as I seem to recall decades ago, my then girl was 5'8, with 6" stiletto heels and a beehive hair do she out did my 6'4". I have to say that if things got tough she was lethal with those heels and had all the moves down pat to use them as both offensive and defensive weapons in a bar fight. Other than that my women have usually been in the 5'2" height area. not by purpose but by virtue that each woman had something which attracted me to them over other girls. casual dates, Mixed height when I include an assortment of cat walk and photographic models from various locations about the globe where I was at the time. For an Amazon to attract me she needs to be breathing, intelligent, able to carry on a decent conversation and the patience of Job to put up with me. Submissiveness is not a factor originally as I would be interested in the person first.

I think amazon women are very attractive but I would limit being with a woman taller than myself. I'm 6'2" so that's unlikely.
I did have a short lived relationship with a 5'11" woman. She was very pretty and couldn't of been more feminine but she had a real hangup about being so tall. She apparently had been mistaken for a transvestite on a number of occasions.
