I met My girl here (on CM) in March of 2008. We've been together ever since.

Don't give up if it takes some time. I have to say that I spent years talking to and meeting the wrong ones before finding the right one. Actually, she found Me - less than a week after I threw My hands up and said, "I give up; I'm not looking any more. This is never going to happen."

It happens. We're living proof.

I too am a firm believer in letting go and your good finds it way to your doorstep. In fact this is how I connected with my beloved companion years past now. I was not expecting her as she was not expecting me showing up in her life. Life has a way of providing the lessons needed for personal growth as does it have a way of connecting people together who are destined to cross paths & unite.

Even though my beloved companion has past on from earth and is no longer with me in the physical; I attest to the beauty that can transpire when one relinquishes searching and seeking and lets go and lets good unite that which is meant to be. Longevity does indeed exist. With the right person of course. Congratulations!

I can certainly relate to that; I looked (and talked to a lot of the wrong ones) for 5+ years before I found the right one. That's long by some standards, and short by others. For Me, it was an ordeal. In every ordeal we have opportunity to learn, though!

I'm 55 and have been looking all my life for the right one. That seems like a long time - a very long time. As for ads here, I've had several over the years. I will leave them up a while and get discouraged and take them down.
