To me, it seemed as if you were agreeing with rml, and just regurgitating his same ole shit.

Apologies if your intent was otherwise.

Firm

What was there not to agree with?

Heretic's words were right there.

I only posted them because he seemed to have forgotten.

servantforuse -> RE: Democrats will hold the House and Senate (10/10/2010 7:46:45 PM)

To answer the OP's question, No they will not hold the House, and the Senate is up for grabs. 23 days to go.

Oh. Are you back, RML? Were you returning to the thread because you are ready to answer the old question you ran from again?

servantforuse -> RE: Democrats will hold the House and Senate (10/10/2010 8:06:55 PM)

He also ran from my $100.00 wager.

Well Richie, as much as I would like to be with you every moment of the day, there are times when I have to leave the computer.

So refresh my memory about that question and I'll be happy to answer it.

Explain to me Servant how one goes about wagering with an anonymous stranger on the internet.

And then explain to me why anyone would be stupid enough to do so.

So your memory is great for two year old posts, but not for a couple pages back? Maybe you should post a bit more honestly

Speaking of posting honestly, you said you had a question I did not answer.

Yet you wasted a lot of keystrokes that you could have used to repeat whatever the question was.

So, I guess I'll keep waiting Richie.

The unemployment rate has been 9.5 % or higher for 14 consecutive months. In this election cycle that means grim news for the democrats.

I saw that too. You'd have to go back to the 1930's to see that before.

Guess the 80's skipped you by.

10 consecutive months of double digit numbers.

Guess 1st grade math skipped you by. 10 is less than 14.

Its quite simple and common. A trusted third party holds the wagers, so there is no risk of either party welching on the bet.

LOL.. and 10 is greater than 9... see how that works?

1982 8.6 8.9 9.0 9.3 9.4 9.6 9.8 9.8 10.1 10.4 10.8 10.8 1982
1983 10.4 10.4 10.3 10.2 10.1 10.1 9.4 9.5 9.2 8.8 8.5 8.3 1983

2009 7.7 8.2 8.6 8.9 9.4 9.5 9.4 9.7 9.8 10.1 10.0 10.0 2009
2010 9.7 9.7 9.7 9.9 9.7 9.5 9.5 9.6 9.6

Gotta admit, from where im sitting, those numbers in 1980 look a hell of alot worse.

The statement was that 14 months of double digit unemployment havent been seen since the 30s. You come back with asinine snark denying that, citing 10 consecutive months in the 80s.

So from where Im sitting, this post is your usual attempt to avoid the fact that your prior one was full of shit.

Funny.

Dennis Miller wasn't even funny when he was on SNL, but that was the closest he ever came to it.
