Especially a lot of the ones around here that are on SSI and food stamps and living in section 8 housing with a handicapped sticker on their car but, come election time, they would vote for satan himself if he was on the republican ticket.

If you look at who is working on road and bridge construction crews around here (all funded by stimulus), about ALL you see is white males. I guess that theory is exposed for a crock of shit.

Fail to vote, and your needs get ignored. What are they supposed to do? If 'their' party doesn't come up with the goods, are they supposed to just carry on hitting the same button?

I'm not sure why this story is being recycled but it first ran three weeks ago.

And three-week old poll numbers are ancient history in the middle of a campaign.

The AP-GfK Poll was conducted Sept. 8-13 by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Corporate Communications and involved landline and cell phone interviews with 1,000 randomly chosen adults.

The answer to that is simple, bollocks to any idea the bastards at the top give a shit for the poor,quite simply they don''t, what they do when they do is peacemeal and nothing else.
