We are in a recession.

They're crazy.  The damn things weighs half a ton and is put together by nonprofessionals?  And children play in it?

Can you say "lawsuit"?  How many $15K houses do you need to sell to cover the liability?

Oh hell NO!

I made the 9 inch tall Gingerbread house a couple of years ago.  Never Again!

I will bet that dentists love it though!

Maybe it comes with a root canal.

I knew from the headline that it had to be Neiman Marcus. They have this weird tradition of finding some overpriced thing no one would ever need and showcasing it as their gift of the year. I don't think they usually sell one of them, but it attracts attention and that gets sales of more normal things.

NM needs a good sound ass whupping and then told to redo this house for a reasonable price that includes both an $8000 tax rebate and edible gold.

Hmmm. . . If it had an oven in it, I bet the former Mod 11 would love it!  [:)]

Didn't she have a special day for beating up the elderly and another for kicking puppies?

Roasting children could be just another hobby!  WOOT!  [:)]

Yes, this post is in fun.  I have always found her dry comment about that just funny as all get out.

There's a scene I don't want to even think about... A gingerbread cage you have to eat your way out of....

DesFIP -> RE: What Every Child Needs For Christmas: A $15,000 Gingerbread House (10/9/2010 2:40:51 PM)

Followed by torture by dental procedure.

AlwaysLisa -> RE: What Every Child Needs For Christmas: A $15,000 Gingerbread House (10/10/2010 7:29:22 AM)

I wonder if it comes assembled....or they simply deliver the ingredients and a list of instructions.

thornhappy -> RE: What Every Child Needs For Christmas: A $15,000 Gingerbread House (10/10/2010 9:36:24 AM)

I hope they don't use Ikea-style instructions. It wouldn't be up until Easter! [:D]

almira -> RE: What Every Child Needs For Christmas: A $15,000 Gingerbread House (10/10/2010 9:53:53 PM)
