You assume that everyone votes based on partisan affiliation.

At least out here, we still like to go with the best candidates, the ones most in touch with what's going on and the best able to help.

And that makes your question unanswerable, as those choices span party affiliation.

Which is true unless you happen to be like me, a former republican from the Reagan era who is now a yellow dog democrat.

I assume that Obama will be running for reelection.  I have no idea who his GOP opponent will be.  So the question is, do you love/hate Obama so much that you will vote for/against hm regardless of who opposes him?

Obama isnt up for reelection for another 2 years steven. The OP missed the possibility that some of us might vote for a mixed slate based on the person running and not just slavishly vote for "the Party".

I dont think Ive ever voted a straight ticket in my life.

Considering that liberals out number conservatives by about 20 to 1 here on collarme, this poll might be a little skewed.

No kidding?

Care to break those numbers down for me?

Nevermind, I forgot who I was asking.  It would cause you too much strain to ever type more than one line.

It's the current conservative "woe is me" complex.

Oops. OP said "2010" and I missed it.

Edited to add:  I'll probably not vote for Senate.  Or go third party.  Buck is a nut, and Bennet is too much a robber baron to understand or care for me.  I wish that Romanoff would have won - I'd love to vote for him.

Nobody in their right mind would vote for Dan Maes for governor.  The guy's a failure, a liar, and possibly delusional.  I'll vote for the Dem or nutcase Tancredo.  Maes actually has the GOP worried because if he pulls less than 10% of the vote (a very real possibility), the GOP becomes a minor party in Colorado.

I haven't marked up my sample ballot yet, but I'm much more interested in the various propositions on the ballot, than in the candidate races.

Hell, my congressman is running unopposed.

I think if we examine the political spectrum of these positions, you will find that it holds pretty much to the same numbers in the real world.

I am actually curious about the diverse thought's of those here on CM.I consider myself to be a alittle "left to the center" on political issue's.I do believe in less government from people's personal life, like what goes on in the bedroom isn't Uncle Sam's job's.I am a registered Democrat, mainly because here in Flordia, you have to be in one of the major 2 party's to vote in the Election.I am faily progressive on many issue's but I am rather conservative on some issue's.I consider myself to be more of a common sense moderate. It really does boil down to who is the best person for the job.Going by party logo's dosen't really do it.There's alot of Democrat's that would never get my vote.It just really depend's.

I also should mention that in Flordia, you have to be in one of the 2 major party's to vote in the Primary election's.Anyone in Flordia, regardless of party, can vote in the general election.

So there are absolutely no incumbents you feel have done a good, or even adequate, job?

And what makes you think their replacements will perform better?

Or does it just make you feel better to join the teabagger circle-jerk and feel like you are accomplishing something without really knowing or caring what you are doing?

Let's just vote those bums out!!!!
