It doesn't reflect on this mythical "community" at all.

It reflects on the idiots who think sending money to people they haven't met is a good idea.

Don't blame the rest of the world for the failings of the professionally stupid.

What the bunny said.

Which is why everyone has the ability to BLOCK and HIDE profiles, and DELETE messages, and if push comes to shove- CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT. There are alot of fake male dominants, subs/slaves, and switches. There are a lot of fake people period- stop letting it stress you out.

OOOOK, firstly I had no intention when writing this post, to grind other peoples gears! Some seem to think that I wrote this post with that aim expressly in mind, that was not the case.

While it is completely my fault for undersestimating the frequency of this topic of post, I don't recall forcing anyone to read it.
Contrary to a some opinions,I didn't write this post as a result of having poor control of my temper, if I let something as small as annoying profiles bother me that much, then this site would probably give me a mental breakdown!

I wrote this mostly as an observation and as a conversation starter, what ever level of seriousness people wish to take from it is purely up to them.
As long as people don't construe this as a deliberate attempt to annoy people! I guess what I'm trying to say is..it's only a post, don't take it so seriously..I didn't!

@Lizi:
Firstly thank you for your welcome, it was much appreciated :)

I completely agree with your point, just because someone dooesn't like a certain kink, they have no right to take it from those that do. Don't get me wrong, I was trying to refer to those who choose to use a false profile and extract money from others, through exploiting their kink for financial domination, while they themselves have absolutely no interest it. This I believe is wrong, I wasn't trying to have a go at financial domination as a fetish or those that find pleasure in it.

It's not frustration at finding it difficult to find a domme that has me slightly peeved, it's the frustration that these fake people just see this lifestyle as way to make a quick buck off others. But in the end it's they're just like any other minor annoyance..easily dismissed.

PS.
I love your phrase "What flips your switch". I'll be borrowing that one, me thinks!

Don't let them get to you...I've also noticed an increase in the so called financial domination crazy. I think it is relevant to this minute and believe it should be against Tos. They are taking up space and trying to take advantage of people gullible or not. It is not becoming of the site...it cheapens it.

Moi, bad???

If anyone wants to send me money, I'll take it. But I am NOT jumping through their kinky little fantasy hoops in return.

And that is why, I am not a money domme!

You are definitely a cutie and regardless of how this is turning out I do hope you stick around.
I understand you were trying for a conversation starter, and not knowing what a sore topic this can be, you didn't anticipate the type of responses. Good on you for sticking around and explaining things in the face of adversity.

I did understand that you weren't having a go at disparaging people whose thing is having their money taken, but rather you were pointing out that financial domination clogs the system and perhaps cheapens the experience for everyone. My own previous comments were more directed at pointing out how hard it would actually be to put any kind of restrictions in place. It's just not an issue that has an easy answer. So perhaps you were correct in pointing out that there is a problem...the tricky part is what, if anything, can be done or should be done.

So you'll question the 'bad' but not the 'girl'?

Kynetic, I think you might be reading a level of anger into people's posts that plain isn't there-I got nothing more than pretty mild irritation. Welcome to the internetz-you'll pick up the tones of voice soon enough

I'm not gonna argue because I can spot the fake profiles pretty easily, but I would think the webmasters here would have a vested interest in ensuring their site wasn't significantly populated with fraudulent profiles. That is a good way to frustrate people and loose traffic.

It's not as easy to knock out the obvious fakes as you may think.  They come back.

How about a webmaster verification system?

Charge a small, optional one-time $3-$5 fee to members and let them verify themselves to the webmaster/moderators privately, either via cam or holding up a sign or whatever, the webmaster puts a little 'verified' icon on their profile, and everybody wins. I'd do it.

Ok, I'm sure other people have probably ranted on about this point before but I'd just like to throw it out there. Surely it hasn't gone unnoticed the amount of "dommes" (and sadly, in this case I use the term rather losely here) that demand money in their profiles.

Yes it has and yes there are. If you are not interested in them, move to the next profile. Not hard if you put your mind to it. In fact I bet it takes a lot less time than the rant you just typed.

Well, if that is the case next time instead of ending your OP with "Your thought, comments are most welcome.." you should end it with something along the lines of Your thought, comments are most welcome, but only if you agree with what I am saying. Not that it will stop anyone from speaking there mind, but it will make more sense when you come back and whine because you don't like the responses.
