...anyway, it only made sense later that day when I told one of my mates, and he said CBT can also stand for 'Cock and Ball Torture'. I wish I'd known that at 10.00 this morning...

I was trying to get a job as a Concrete Block Technician, so I went to a CBT Lecture at a Private residence and got the scare of my life.

LOL...I work in the mental health field CBT also stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.....the first couple time I heard my co-workers talking about using CBT on client ...I was at best described as confused....lucky for me I kept my mouth shut and figured it out.

Bless you HazelEyes24 - that's the joke I was looking for.

True story:

Some guy answers an ad in a newspaper and signs up for 6 weekly sessions of CBT. The therapist tells him she can almost certainly help him quit smoking. Anyway, he turns up at her office where she has him strip naked before setting to work on his bits with a lit cigarette. He's puzzled, and it hurts like hell, but he assumes she must know what she's doing (we've all been there, right?). But after the third session he can hardly walk straight and his desire to smoke doesn't seem to have weakened, so he decides to talk to his workmates, see what they have to say...
