I haven't read the entire thread, but from the responses that I scanned, I see that many do not quite understand your question. I believe that the reason for that is that "wish lists" are found almost exclusively on the profiles of Dommes. Many of those who answered are Dommes themselves, so they probably don't spend much time viewing the profiles of other Dommes.
As a male sub, I see wish lists all the time. They are rampant here on CollarMe. The wish lists that I usually see tend to include giftcards from the Domme's favorite stores or websites (Victoria's Secret and Amazon are very popular), jewelry, sex toys, and lists of various bills that they want subs to "adopt".
If you take the time to see who has wish lists, they tend to be "financial Dommes" or pro-Dommes. Also, you may notice that the profiles that include wish lists tend to belong to 18-25 year old "Dommes" who almost always have the same type of profile pictures. Either their pictures are super-hot like they're bikini models, or in their picture they are holding a fist full of cash in one hand and they're giving you the finger with their other hand. I don't know what Domme manual they are all subscribing to that tells them that that is the official pose for Dommes, but I see that pose a lot. Those types also tend to send subs/slaves unsolicited e-mails that typically address the sub/slave as "worm" or "bitch". Once again, that must be in the Domme manual, because they all seem to do it. If I were you, I wouldn't spend much time worrying about WHY they have wish lists. If that type of Domme is not for you, simply block and delete them when they contact you. Financial Dommes aren't going anywhere. Besides, they're harmless so long as you don't send them any money. Frankly, I don't understand why so many people are offended by them.
