.... and finished... NaNoWriMo... 50,000 words. 26 days. Go me. How did it happen? One day, a friend mentioned [sm=whisper.gif]National Novel Writers Month. A call to the writers group[sm=onphone.gif] with details came a bit later on. How many words? 5[sm=hewah.gif],[sm=hewah.gif][sm=hewah.gif][sm=hewah.gif]? Impossible![sm=eeew.gif] Ah well.... can't resist a challenge. So off we go! A little light reading, and well, heck[sm=book.gif] *I* can write at least THAT good! Week 1: [sm=cheerleader.gif] Let's all meet in a coffee shop![sm=coffee.gif] Write a little, read each other's work, chat a little.[sm=news.gif] YAY![sm=oddballs.gif] 15,000 words finished.... more or less... a fun new program to play with. oooooo Week 2: a lot more coffee, [sm=insane.gif]and the words flow effortlessly[sm=writing.gif]. The writing group meets, helping each other! [sm=line.gif] There may have been some crying... [image]http://www.collarchat.com/upfiles/smiley/river.gif[/image]and some cleaning up.[sm=mop.gif] from writing gut wrenching scenes. 25,000 words complete more or less. Week 3: Please... distractions. [sm=laundry.gif] Can't... take it... anymore. [sm=sucks.jpg]... Let's write a different story!!! [sm=ignore.gif]that idea! Phone calls, emails... [sm=poke.gif] Grrr.[sm=shame.gif] No slacking off. [sm=nervous.gif] Don't hurt me! You can do it! You can do it![sm=pompom.gif] 33,000 words done... more or less... week 4: What is left to write?[sm=dunno.gif] No more ideas![sm=marionette.gif] Too tired to write. [sm=tired.gif] This book[sm=banghead.gif] is torture![sm=injured.gif]I surrender... [sm=giveup.gif]Help!
