Generally speaking, no. They're adults and they can make their own food choices. I'm their dominant, not their mommy. If I were to notice one of them consistently making unhealthy choices, then I might step up and control this more until they got the picture and started making healthier choices. But the point would be to educate them on how to do it right, not for me to take over a basic everyday responsibility that they have to themselves and to me for making healthy choices that will keep them fit.
Actually both of them are on fairly specific diets which they have researched very well for themselves, and while I'm also a competent nutritionist (certified PT), I don't necessarily know what they've eaten earlier or in one of their cases (the type 1 diabetic) what his blood sugar reading was. Nor do I want to micromanage those things. I expect them to be competent, responsible adults and manage these things for themselves.
If I was with a potential new submissive on a date, I would have no idea what his health or medical status was and what would be appropriate for him to eat. Doctors don't prescribe for their dates, and nutritionists generally don't do it either; it's not very responsible. Now if I'm with a PT client whose diet and exercise I am supervising, and whose health history I have spent hours reviewing, I definitely will be ordering for him. Also probably making him take half of it home and having the waitstaff box half his meal immediately, as restaurant portions are mostly just too damn large. I tend to be a cheap date because I rarely order entrees; an appetizer portion is usually plenty big enough for a proper sized meal.
