Status: offline 		Finally I found by my dom! (more like he found me) We having been seeing each other since july but have the collaring scheduled for november. Working on our vows/promises at the moment.

I am really glad I didn't give up (I did a couple times) after the couple duds I got. I would have missed out on serving and loving an amazing person who is everything I could ask for in a dom and man.

I think back with humor at our first messages that didn't even talk about BDSM, he did the right thing in working to get to know me first. Then we started instant messaging talking about nothing but that. Now we have reached a happy medium probably because we both prefer our BDSM discussions in person ;) . The evolution of this relationship in my eyes is amazing. When we are together I feel complete, loved, and happy I just don't know how I got so lucky! 

It isn't all sugar and fairy tales though, there was and will be more rough spots, but my love grows and I am happy nonetheless. Real love to me is not measured in the easy bits but the rough ones and how you get past them.

Just wanted to put another positive story out there for people who think they will never find that special person.

A year and a half was very much worth the wait for him.  <3

Status: offline 		Congratulations, but what wait?  You're only 24!  You make it sound like you were single for 10 years or something.  Like me.  I was single for 10 years.  That was a long wait.

Status: offline 		Hmmmm ten years is quite some time, I bow to your patience. I would have totally said F this lol. I did put some perspective into by adding at the end after a year and a half wait. My dom, lucky guy was on something like four months -.-

Status: offline 		I wasn't on here for 10 years, just single for 10 years.  What I'm trying to say is that you've managed to find a relationship in a perfectly normal amount of time.  In fact, you're still so young, this may not be the last one, either.  My point is that you've really not done any waiting, you've just been living life.  At 24, you were bound to meet someone somewhere.  You're at the very beginning of your life.  I'm sure there are many more adventures ahead.

Status: offline 		Gah! Whole point of post was not about the wait it was about finding someone I feel is perfect for me. Everyone gets on here and expects to find that perfect person right away which all people on longer than a couple months know doesn't happen.
