LadyPact -> Slave Auction Was A Success (10/18/2010 7:52:33 AM)

Back in August, I posted this thread http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=3317024&key=proof%2Creading about an event that I was planning. This past weekend was our Bakersfield Delightful Slave Menagerie (otherwise known as BDSM) and I have to say that I feel it was a huge success. Out of over fifty people who attended, there were at least eight (Myself included) who have accounts here on CM, so I thought I'd put this in the positive experience forum.
I have to say that it was an absolutely fabulous night! Our own little dungeon had been completely transformed. Before I ever even got into town, the whole place had been redecorated for the event. The social area had received new tile, new paint, and even new furniture in anticipation of all of the guests. There are so many people to thank that I wouldn't even know where to start. The slave pit area was set up exactly the way I had imagined it.
The people who had put themselves up to be sold on the auction block did such a fantastic job. They kept the anticipation and the energy alive by creating their characters and coming up with the most wonderful costumes. Some of them even were willing to be the entertainment during the gambling hour and beyond. We had songs and dances performed for the potential buyers that were shows that I would have paid money to see. It was no surprise to Me that some of them were sold for over a thousand dollars in 'fake' money.
I can't skip saying how surprised that I was when the buyers during the auction volunteered to pool their money and buy one of the slaves for Me. This was an amazing gesture and I was so touched that people wanted to thank Me in this way. I had a great needle scene with a fantastic bottom. We had such a good time playing together and I can't thank the person who came up with this idea enough and all of the people who contributed.
All in all folks, this was a great event. Many thanks to everyone who came, participated, and made this a spectacular event!
