TheRaptorJesus -> Your Favorite Jew? (10/20/2010 8:53:12 AM)

Now, I don't see enough love for my brothers of the Semitic variety on here much and since I'm a messenger of LOVE and evisceration, I thought I'd change that.

So, who is CM's favorite person of the Jewish persuasion? Fellow CM members are allowed, but that sort of ass-kissing will be severely frowned upon.

Mine, personally? Bob Dylan of course! The man can wrap words around a story with the sophistication of few others. He may claim to be a born-again christian or some-such nonsense, but he can't hide that nose. I don't appreciate the lies, Mr. Zimmerman!

PS... Naming that OTHER Jesus is strictly forbidden.

Fast reply,

I have a BIG crush on Harvey Levin, the host of TMZ and the moderator-lawyer on The People's Court.

I don't really know if Harvey's Jewish, but he is so smart and so sexy... And he's self-depreciating and enjoys his life and what humor!

I am Jewish, so I am my favorite.

No, really...my fave is one of my exes, P.

He was so well endowed, it walked in before he did.

My own nomination would be Larry David, and in the music world Lou Reed although he is reputed to be a bit of a monster.

Jews for Jesus would disagree with you about being Jewish and Christian. I don't think Dylan ever pretended or lied about his Jewishness after he converted to Christianity. His conversion to Christianity was sincere as his albums like Shot of Love indicate. In fact the reactionary tone on albums like that shocked and alienated most of his old fans from the 60's.

The Rabbi Bob Alper. A freakin hysterical standup comic who is also a practicing rabbi.

You can guess where he gets material.

popeye1250 -> RE: Your Favorite Jew? (10/20/2010 11:28:39 AM)

Rodney Dangerfield, hands down!
He once said about going to a club; "To get in you have to go down three steps, physically and socially."
I *Loved* Rodney!
Also honorable mention George Burns and Robert Schiller.

'Twas merely lighthearted jest at the expense of the greatest lyricist of all time. I'd like to expand on this thought, but that's another topic for another day... probably for another forum unless there are a lot of Dylan-philes here.

OMG, how could I forget,...........................The Three Stooges! Moe, Morris Horowitz, Curly, Jerome Horowitz, Larry, Larry Fine.
Moe, Curly and Shemp were brothers. And Larry Fine was an accomplished violinist.
