With Halloween fast approaching....Facebook has an application asking if you would spend one night in a haunted house, for ten thousand dollars.

Would you?

ps...this little dancing blob was as close as I could find to a ghost emoticon!

Hello-

As long as I could tell that it wasn't "haunted" by other live humans, sure!  :)  Sign me up! :)

My motive would need to be different than monetary gain in order to stay a night in a haunted house, of which I cannot possibly conceive of at this moment.

Take care!

Heck..I've been dying (no pun intended) to get to visit THIS PLACE
more for the historical relevance than for the supposed ghosts.
They want to also fill my pockets with 10,000 buckaroos? Let's go!!

Ummm...OK, so they want to PAY me for sleeping in my home? Sure thing!
I sleep in a "haunted house" every night. Sometimes the little girl gets too inquisitive, and we have to tell her to leave us alone, and other times the guy who died young gets pissed off that people are having sex in "his" room, so he does little things like flash the lights and scratch on walls, but really, they aren't at all as nasty as the ones one block in either direction.

Admittedly, it can get a bit unnerving at times, but a lot of it has to do with your attitude.

Poise, you are welcome to come visit me any time!

ETA: DomImus, the night the one ghostie flashed the lights etc, we had my .380, thinking the source of the noise was my evil ex, who had been breaking into the house. It wasn't a human making the commotion. Guns are great against a live opponent, but of no use at all against someone in the spirit realm.

Well I believe, and yeah, I'd do it.....if I could take my teddy and blankie!

Of course, depending on the time of the month, I'd be more skeery than the ghosties!

The music on that video could make the Disney castle sinister!! I would consider it if I didn't have to sleep and I had a light source.

since I don't believe in ghosts or spirits in the typical way, yes. I've done it before for no money and nothing happened except the sounds of boards creaking, house settling and wind blowing.

For ten thousand dollars? Yup. I'd do it in a heartbeat and probably get a decent night's sleep while at it.

Sure, I'd do it. There's no such thing as ghosts, there's no such thing as ghosts, there's no such thing as ghosts...
