He also said "I did not want to be a president overseeing a depression greater than the Great Depression," no wonder the GOP didnt want him releasing his book before the midterms. He may think not privatizing social security was his biggest failure, but we know there were other, bigger failures related to that presidency. Comments like his are just intended to sell a book. He will need the proceeds, because he only has 8 years of Secret Service protection left. After that, its on his own dime.

I'd suggest that ignoring a CIA briefing that OBL had something planned for the September of 2001 was probably the biggest failure of his Presidency, though I'm sure the chimp wouldn't agree with that as he did very well out of the al queda demolitions programme in New York. From his viewpoint it was probably the best thing that happened to him since he got into the National Guard rather than being sent to Vietnam, but I doubt that even the most rabid rightards on the forum would see it that way.
