Apology For Being An Idiot - 4/26/2006 6:59:10 AM

I've done perhaps the most stupid thing I have ever done on the message board ... taken a post and applied it's thoughts to the wrong person. Hell, I not only did that, I perpetuated a whole string of points/counterpoints, based on a post that the person I was counterpointing, didn't even make.
 
I could blame it on blonde hair, but I'm not a natural blonde. I could blame it on the weather, but it's been beautiful around here lately. I think I will just admit to doing something really fucking stupid, being a dumbass, and acting like an ugly American ...and leave it at that.
 
Apologies to EnglishDom. I now know why your posts confused me as a mixture of wonderful arguments and ranting chaos. You weren't in fact ranting any chaos.
 
You have my apologies ... and going forward, I will pay closer attention to not only the post, but the actual poster.

Equally noteworthy is the graciousness of the acceptance of the apology.  Well done.

Caitlyn this is very gracious of you to do, but PLEASE stop calling yourself all those ugly names, especially since they aren't true!   There is nothing more beautiful than an intellectual and humble person which you have shown you are.
You made a mistake, have taken responsibility, and I hope you will let it go now.
Now if we could get you and EnglishDomNW together to kiss/make up and send pictures??     M

I must say girl, your courage is commendable. Most wouldn’t have the integrity to admit they were wrong, nor would they have the character to apologize for it. You have topped my good girl list.
