Sorry about the hijack above Rich,

You cant really blame the Dems for panicking this way, even going so far as to throw their support behind the birther movement. Think about it - theyre still in denial about everything. They think Reagan was just a B actor, there were no WMDs in Iraq EVER... they really believe that no one realizes theyre Socialists, and they even think that Socialism works...

So as crazy and fucked up as they are, thinking that they can support half baked fake  Tea Party candidates without anyone finding out about it is just part for the course for them.

They couldnt get any more pathetic!

I'd like to see this thread stay on topic, Mike. I did rant on the side topic a bit on another thread, a while back.

Im still waiting to see the panic.

Fair enough Rich, perhaps we shall get back to that at another more appropriate time...
Sanity what panic are you referring to. This seems to me to be a reasoned and quite intelligent use of what for the most part is ill directed anger.
As far as whether or not they thought no one would find out about it.....I think it is more a case of an assumption that those that will cast votes for these candidates are so ill informed that there is no need for concern. There doesn't seem to have been all that much effort put forth to keep these actions covert. After all there are no violations here....none at all.

I don't think the Democrat's need to worry about putting up "fake" Tea Bagger's to win the election. The real Tea Bagger's are doing a great job screwing themselve's as it is.

There is indeed a certain poetic justice.
But I see no chance of success..... do you?
of course, I also see no chance of Meg getting anything through Sacramento....

There's been a lot of that going around.  I think it was in Minnesota that the Dems actually sponsored their own "TEA party" slate of candidates, and it took a lawsuit (or threat of one) to get them to acknowledge it, and take them out.

Might have been another one of those corrupt, Dem controlled northern states, but I'm not really interested in googling it right now.

Besides, it will give me some more ammo when the lefties come in and call it BS. [:D]

Firm

Well they've learned from the expertly corrupt repubs who finance and put up their own strawman for the dem primary in SC so they could vote for him to run against DeMint. Stupidity abounds as DeMint was never in danger of losing his seat anyway.

Why not assist somebody who could help you win ?

You have any real proof that Alvin Greene was a Republican plant, or are you just letting your hatred get the better of you?

Must have been MI, Firm.  What happened here in MN is that the greatest lot of the teapartiers were in with both feet in the Rush 'Vote for Hillary' campaign, which ended up registering them as democrats, and they were fucked on running in this state (except for glen menzie) as republicans or independents.  And of course under those circumstances, they had no shot at getting a democratic endorsement.  The only real true loonie we got now is Michelle Bachmann (a sorta Palin style wannabe) down there in the sixth district.

Agreed. They could donate $5 billion to each tea party candidate and it would still come down to who Republicans vote for in the primary.

Youre certainly welcome to it, as I stole it myself. [:)]

There are serious questions about the validity of a wave of new Democrat registrations submitted by an SEIU front group. Close races could be subject to some interesting challenges.
